We gave this as a gift to a couple of donut lovers at our workplace. When they opened it, they looked a little confused, but they got a kick out of it as soon as we explained what these mugs were for. High recommend. My mugs arrived well packaged, and unbroken.

I love the concept of this mug, and bought it as a christmas gift. However, when it arrived, the large box it was shipped within had no bubble wrap or foam to cushion the small box housing the mugs. One mug arrived with a broken handle. Because they aren't in stock, I won't be able to get the replacement until well after christmas. And even then, I am concerned that it may arrive broken, too.The mug itself seems fine. The handles are hollow and clearly fragile, so keep that in mind. Also, the mug is bigger than expected. Maybe a little awkward to hold, but not a big deal.

I does what it supposed to do, heat your doughnut and hold coffee. But there a few issues. This mug has a hollow handle. So the handle gets warm. It isn't a thick handle so it doesn't get really hot because the china is actually quite thick, but in general I don't care for hollow handles. Hollow handles have a problem with breakage. The handle becomes the weakest point an when they break you now have a hole in your cup spewing out hot liquids in your direction. So how do stop hot liquid, you don't, you drop it and accept 1st degree burn because you don't want a 2nd degree burn.The other problem with the hollow handle is that you clean inside the handle because the "doughnut plate" restricts access to running a stream of water from a faucet to rinse it out. There are 2 holes, one for sipping and I guess the other for guzzling your coffee.From a hygiene point of view, I really thing the handle should be redesigned. Personally, I would prefer to have the sipping hole changed to larger guzzling opening, just so you can clean it easier. You can see the lower hole, but top handle hole is not easy at all to get to at all. Fixing this might be tricky. Because the larger hole is probably there to allow you to dunk you doughnut and enlarging the smaller hole will decrease the plate area. So maybe just increase it more so you can at least aim your faucet stream into it.Don't get me wrong, I still give this 4 stars, it's cool and a very good size. But, there are issues. I am not OCD about cleanliness. You are after all pouring water that is close to boiling into it, so you are killing germs with the heat. But it's a white cup and any remaining coffee will be very apparent.

This is a left handed coffee mug.The handle is not on the correct sidefor a right handed person. I am righthanded and it is awkward to drinkmy beverage left handed to protectmy mustache. There needs to be aleft AND a right hand model. I guessthe supplier bought a warehouse froma fire sale and you get what you get.

Love it! My brother-in-law works for the sheriff's department, and I always get him a doughnut gift of some sorts. This mug was perfect. I was only expecting one mug and to my surprise there was two in the box. Now he can share the other with my sister. The mugs are bigger than I expected (think normal coffee mug) so even better!!

A great concept but; SIZE, this is a small bowel, not mug or cup DESIGN, the right handed opening is far to wide, both sides are too deep to allow a good seal ... overall a good idea but very poor design and follow through. They are cheap but you get what you pay for.

The only problem I have with this mug is I bought it for my dad for Father's day and I ordered it early, so I tried it out and loved it. Now I have to buy another one to send to him, late. I thought it was kinda like a gag gift but it has become my favorite coffee cup and is very very useful! It's alot bigger than I thought to. I love it! Hopefully my dad will to. He don't eat to many donuts but he has a duck dynasty beard and the "mustache guard" will come in handy.

We were very happy to find cups with the mustache guard! The first thing we noticed was that the handles are positioned for left-handed people. The next thing we noticed was that the "pastry warmer" makes it difficult to get into the cup to clean it. Nevertheless, they are well-made and hold a generous 12 ounces, so we are very happy with them.
