I do what I can to be environmentally conscious and laundry detergent has been something have been aware of for many decades. How it causes great harm to our waterways, fish, sea life and is detrimental to the ecological system. Also, there are a lot of toxic chemicals in regular laundry detergents that affect our health and are the reason your washing machine break down every few years, etc. For over 40 years, I have been buying natural laundry detergent, some were good and some not so good. After learning that laundry sheets were not effective in the washing machine I researched other environmentally, conscious laundry detergents. When I found Cleancutt laundry detergent, it checked all my boxes and the best thing about it is it only takes 1 tablespoon to do a whole load of laundry! I’m not a fragrance person, but we decided to order one of the Non-toxic scented ones (fragrance and regular laundry products are synthetic and petrochemical that are very dangerous to humans and pets (these harmful effects hurt your skin, respiration, sinuses, trigger migraines, and sets off flares of autoimmune diseases) the smell is very nice, light and not overwhelming. I got a stain on a new white blouse, put a dab of this detergent on the stain and laundered it with 1 tablespoon of detergent in a regular load. Lo and behold, that stain, and another that I had given up on were both gone! The clothes look brighter and cleaner. This is a really good and powerful laundry detergent! Without all the harmful ingredients, dyes, petrochemicals, synthetic fragrance, etc., that causes us harm. It is economical, effective, powerful, leaves, no residue on the clothes or in the machine. The lint trap had less lint than usual, which is a good sign that your laundry detergent isn’t breaking down the fabric and your clothing.

I have been searching for the last few months for a highly scented liquid, laundry detergent that’s not overly expensive and will clean my laundry without using the harsh chemicals that are in most of the name brand laundry detergents. This one checks all the boxes! I came across this brand during the Amazon Prime Days sale in July of this year. They were offering a discount and if I subscribed I would of course get an additional discount for the first order and more discounts on future orders. I love Amazon’s subscribe program because you can skip orders or cancel anytime easily on the site with a click of a button. I figured it was so affordable if for some reason I didn’t like it I wouldn’t be out a lot of money. The laundry detergent was not leaking when it arrived and was carefully packaged to avoid any spills during transit. I was excited to try it out, so I immediately started a load of towels. The laundry detergent is highly concentrated so a little goes a long way. The scent is Juniper Sandalwood and it smells AMAZING!! It’s reminds me of a man’s cologne or a more masculine scent, but not overpowering or in a bad way. You cannot get enough of this scent!! It’s so so good! Normally when I get a detergent it may smell amazing in the bottle, but the smell is very light on clothing after it goes through the wash cycle and dryer. Not this brand!! The smell carried on throughout the entire cycle and drying process. My towels smelled so good and they continue to smell good folded in the linen closet. My daughter came home from college and immediately smelled the amazing scent of this detergent just walking in the door while I was doing laundry. We decided to put a little with some water in a spray bottle so we could spray the scent on fabrics like bedding and curtains around our home. Such a great idea!! It makes your entire home smell lovely! I watch kids in my home, so you can imagine the smells changing 4 little ones diapers all day long can bring. My parents commented on the smell as soon as they walked through the door! This stuff is so good and affordable! I cannot recommend it enough. Buy it! You will not be disappointed!! 10/10!!

This laundry detergent has quickly become one of my favorites. I've been using this for a solid 6 months now. I switched from Seventh Generation squeeze bottle to this in order to phase out more and more plastic. It smells wonderful but is also not harmful!! Wahoo!! I feel bad for the people who had the bottom fail....but this has not been my experience at all. It takes at least a month to finish this - more like 6-8 weeks and the bottom is perfectly solid, as it was when I bought it. THANKFULLY!! I eye-ball the measurement and should just get an old measuring spoon to use - but thus far I haven't. It's basically like a milk carton. If you can pour milk you can pour this without an issue I would say. Super concentrated and cleans really well. I haven't had any issues with stains or residue. I am super happy to have found a healthy soap that is also close to plastic free. The lid is all and I am ok with that!! This is my new brand and recommend it to anyone who is looking to upgrade their plastic free game, without doing the DIY castile soap!

I love the smell of this detergent! It is a little expensive for the size, but it is fairly concentrated, so a little goes a long way. It does a great job removing all kinds of stains, even tougher ones, and the smaller container makes it really easy to store. Overall, I’m very happy with how well it cleans and smells.

So I've been on a mission to use little or no plastic in my home for the last few years. I purchased this laundry detergent due to the reviews abs the lack of much plastic (aside from cap). Sad to say, it arrived in perfect condition then sat on my washing machine for a month. When I picked it up, the bottom cardboard let go and went EVERYWHERE. Dudes, EVERYWHERE. My dog came running in because I guess I yelled a back-of-the-bus word and she proceeded to slalom down the hallway in the liquid. It took 5 full hours on my hands and knees to clean this up. P.S. I have a degenerative bone disease so that amount of labor on my knees meant I was stuck in bed for 2 days after. From what I've seen and cleaned up, this product is very, very, superpowerfully concentrated and would probably wash your clothes really well. Unfortunately, I won't know because I'm never buying this again... I can't afford the two days in bed after the packaging fails. It does smell nice though - and so does my laundry room, which means I didn't find it all to clean up. Good times. 👍

It is my first time using Clean Cult, and I choose the Juniper Sandalwood scent --very light fragrance. It is worth the value for the money, since it is very concentrated and a little goes a long way. I found it helpful for my sensitive and dry skin. My child has eczema and I was searching for a clean laundry detergent; I came across with Clean Cult Laundry Detergent. As soon as I found out that it is free from the harsh stuff I purchased it. Almost done with the product and will purchase another one soon-I would like to try a different scent this time. This is a for sure long lasting detergent, safe for our skin, and mess free.

I'm comparing this to a popular liquid detergent that comes in a bright green plastic bottle, which is the last commercial laundry detergent I bought, and so it's what i'm used to using. My first impression was the size and shape of the container. Most liquid detergent comes in awkward shape plastic bottles, and since for my big family I'm usually doing 2-4 loads a day, I prefer the rectangular carton as they stack neat and tidy with no wasted space so I can buy in bulk. I wasn't expecting these cartons to be so small, though. You get 64 loads in one little paper carton as opposed to 64 loads in a big plastic bottle, which also means a neater laundry supply area and a lot less non-biodegradable trash. My second impression was of the scent (I have jasmine) which is really pleasant and not overpowering. My boys and girls alike think it smells good on their clothes. My third impression, and the most important consideration, is how clean it gets the clothes. I have some smelly, sloppy kids, many pets, and we don't use disposable paper products, so my cleaning towels have been washed hundreds or thousands of times. This detergent works just as well as what I'm used to using. Finally, I compared the price to what I had been buying. The price for 64 loads is slightly different, and I do mean slightly, like a few pennies different, which is completely negligible if calculating cost per load or cost per month. Bottom line - you can get the same amount of clean for the same price in a lovely scent, while reducing clutter on the shelves, reducing non-biodegradable trash, and reducing fossil fuels used to ship heavy liquids.
