2008 release, the long-lost sophomore album from the British quartet, which has remained shelved and unreleased since it was recorded in 1981. Crystal Tips & Mighty Mice is a classic record, from one of the best melodic Pop bands to emerge from Punk and has songs which sound as fresh and frisky now as they did back then. A successful live band, commanding big audiences and touring with big bands, even having U2 support them, The Photos ran out of steam and imploded, leaving stunning songs behind them like a trail of expensive litter. The CD has been re-mastered from the original master tapes, and will be warmly welcomed as one of the great 'lost' albums of the early '80's finally seeing the light of day. Cherry Red.

Lost But Not Forgotten
Unusual title for the group's sophomore effort. I purchased their first album when it was released over thirty-five years ago when I was in college. There was not a bad song on it. This was the first time I had heard any other music the band recorded after their debut. Definitely worth it. Great pop hooks and arrangements. Too bad they never caught on in the United States.

Terrific CD, get them both!
The Photos' American release was like the best of the two Photos British releases in one album, but it's great to have this cd to complete the best songs on the American release. In fact, the two Photos CDs together make for a great evening of British new wave rock. Buy them both!
