I find it highly suspect that all the reviews are clearly for some kind of cable and don't mention a keyboard and mouse at all

Don't believe the reviews. I had this for less than a year when the keyboard stopped functiioning. Although it was under warranty, the seller never responded to my many emails.

To use the f keys, do i need to press fn + f key?

There is an fn lock, so after you press that, so you don't have to use fn + f key.

Is the mouse full size or compact?

Full size. But don’t waste your money. Battery life is horrible.

My cover is torn - how do I order a replacement?

You can buy one on Amazon. I just ordered one for my Seenda model WGHP - 038 keyboard with mouse. Hasn't arrived yet but it looks identical to mine and the descriptor says it fits my model. Make sure it's the right one for you. https://amzn.to/3k3oI2n
