Decent Kit for cheap.
Fixed up an odometer for a 91 560SEL with this kit. One of the larger gear requires a slight modification which involved slicing off the spacer or nipple on one side as it prevented the pin from engaging into the cover that secures everything. No big deal, slices off easily with a razor blade and you cut it off completely so it’s a flat surface. And you need to cut off the copper bushing on the top to the drive motor so you can slip on the smallest gear. Gear that required that mod is the blue one on top. Overal happy and everything worked. Before ordering, count the teeth to the gears as the w126 had two versions.

Fixed my problem.
They work! Watch the Utube video on how to make the repair. It wasn't difficult. Got the odometer working again.

Clarify you have the plastic back speedo, some I have a metal back will not work
Make sure before ordering you have the plastic back covered speedo, some have a metal rear cover. Will not work.

loose on the shaft
The shaft side of the large gears , to loose must use epoxy, not good.

will fit with minor modifications to a 91 Mercedes 560 sec
you will need to cut the spacer off one of the larger gears. very easy with a box cutter . also the small 12 tooth gear design is different it is friction fit , you will have to get rid of the brass inner bushing of the original 12 tooth gear in order to be able to slide this over the bearing/needle.
