The adapter that comes with it sticks to the ring of the Z1 lense. The new lens then screws on. I don't feel it made a huge amount of difference when taking selfies/handheld vlogging but still useful. Macro lens is lovely. Quite heavy so I wouldn't leave it on all of the time as it may affect the camera

Bought a while ago, never could use it, always falls off after an hour or two max. The adhesive is useless, the lense is just too heavy for it so it never holds.Ok as long as you're planning to take off the lense after 10 minutes of usage max each time, or glue it permanently.Disappointed.

the lens looks good but it didn’t even come with the adapter ring, i can’t even use it without it. i don’t want to return it, i want the ADAPTER LENS. the money will take too long to come back to my account for me to buy it again after returning it and there’s no guarantee if it will be missing again. i’m so angry and disappointed

Extremely good quality and well made, fits perfect. Very heavy though so I do worry about the cameras motors coping in the long run, I generally remove it when not in use.The lens solves the problem of the Sony's narrow field of view however it does introduce some distortion with a noticeable curve to the image.Overall a very nicely made product that's a little on the expensive side and heavy too. I have knocked it down a start due to these slight negatives but have no hesitation on recommending it, particularly in the absence of any other viable options to solve the Sony's narrow FOV.

I’m writing this review 4 months after I purchased it… here it goes:I had the same feeling as you lot are thinking. The Sony ZV-1 is good? But I want a wider angle. I saw all the YouTube videos and I thought I’ll give this a go. It arrived the next day, everything was good. Stuck the circle thing on the lens. Everything was great. Until a month later… the sticky thing didn’t last and just fell off mid filming. I decided to get a fresh sticky to replace it but my Sony ZV-1 and the ulanzi lens was covered in sticky residue. So I cleaned it and tried again. The second sticky didn’t even last more than a week.I decided to leave it and just come back to it later because I couldn’t be bothered to have to clean all the residue off again. A few weeks later I come to clean off the residue and it’s LEFT MARKS ON MY ZV-1And what’s better I couldn’t even put the lens back on anyways even if I wanted to because it only came with a limited amount of replacement sticky’s.I’m so disappointed… this product just doesn’t work long term. Probs a few months tops. Ulanzi if you are reading this what about making a lens that is magnetic so it just clips onto the lens and then you can easily take it on and off? Why do you have those crap sticky circles that come off mid filming and leave residue everywhere.So if you are still considering buying this product after reading this… good luck. And if ulanzi comes up with a better way to mount this lens to the ZV-1 I might reconsider. But save yourself 50 quid and buy something better. A long tripod maybe to fix the wide angle issue?

Ich habe mir die ZV1 Kammera von Sony gekauft um eine kleine Reisekammera und für Wandervideos und bei Ausflügen mit dabei zu haben. Das Weitwinkelobjektiv passt von Ulanzi past da sehr gut dazu.Ich nutze noch die Powerbank BK3 um genügend saft zu haben. Da die baterie recht schnell lehr ist.Evtl könnt man da auch einen Adapter Ring machen, um größere Objektive mit Sonny E-Mount Anschluss an die ZV1 anschließen zu können.

L'image en sortie d'appareil est conforme à l'annonce, mais...La fabrication est lourde sur un Sony ZV1 à la sortie de l'objectif, on sent qu'à la longue l'appareil ne va pas aimé.Si comme moi, vous mettez un filtre UV, polarisant etc... le Creative ZV-1 Objectif Grand Angle/Macro supplémentaire est en 52 mm coté appareil et la sortie en 58 mm !! Et celà n'es spécifié que... sur le bouchon d'obturation livrer avec.Donc, pour le montage, pas de pb, c'est solide, la colle tien bon et résiste aux contraintes mécaniques dues aux vissages-dévissages de l'objectif sur la bague collée. Le pack est livré avec 3 adhésifs.Pour ma part, je suis bon pour acheter un nouveau filtre polarisant en 58 mm !!!Les photos prisent et dérushées dans Darktable / Lightroom nécessitent un temps de recherche pour trouvé la bonne correction d'objectifs. Pour ma part je cherche encore!Voilà un achat que je regrette.

I bought this one for my zv1. So far I'm pretty satisfied with it. The only downside is this is a bit heavy for the camera, I always put it on while the camera is on. It's not very convenient. But for the better photos and videos, it's worth it.
