Great idea!
Terrific human anatomy books, especially for kids who don’t love to read.

A hit on or off Broadway!
Fantastic book! Using a comic book format, the skeleton MC presents the human body as a Broadway play! My 10 year old granddaughter was an instant fan! This book presents the human body in a fun, engaging way. Even non-readers will enjoy looking at the pictures as you "tell" them the stories. Perfect for any age!

Wonderful
This is a great book! It is such a wonderful way to teach kids about their bodies. It is scientific, fun, and very kid friendly. It does talk about how babies are made in an easily digestible, honest, yet kid appropriate way. I love this book and would suggest if for every parent.

10 yr old loves this book
My daughter has always loved learning about the human body and its processes. This book is perfect for her at this stage because she also is into graphic novel-style text. The theme is cute (a skeleton leads a Broadway-style show of acts, each one describing a different system of the body starting with skeletal, going into muscle, digestive, endocrine, etc) Reading it with her at bedtime brings back memories of A&P classes lol. The terminology is accurate, which was surprising and refreshing that they didn't candy-coat anything. I appreciated that the author was able to make the information digestible for a 10 year old while keeping it detailed and scientific.

Great resource for students & teachers!
I ordered this book to see if I could use it in my 7th gr. science classroom. Teachers are to encourage "reading across the curriculum" and teens like graphic novels. The book is factually correct, easy to read, great drawings and well written. I am going to order a class set and assign different body systems to read and answer questions. I will create the questions, according to the students' level, and assign them. I may also add "graphic-type" questions, where students may draw what comes next in the scenario. Thank you for making a fun book over the human body systems!

The best book for kids
We got this book as a gift and since that moment my kids read it at least 7 times. My son is sating he would love to become a doctor, so he was fascinated to learn how different systems work inside human body.

So much fun!
Seriously....it doesn't get much better than this book. My daughters are 3 and 4 years old and I am currently in nursing school. This is an incredible look into how our bodies work without being so dumbed down that it's silly or so complex that you have trouble following. I don't always read it word-for-word when we sit down to look it over, but the illustrations are magnificent and really hit the ideas home. My older daughter definitely understands certain concepts well beyond her age, like the fact that there are good germs and bad. She realizes that sometimes our bodies react or over-react to things it thinks are bad and some people have allergies! She is definitely my little study buddy! I love that I can foster her interest in science and biology with things like this. I would have loved to have had this as a kid!!!One of my favorite little gems is that the skeleton that brings us on the journey is shown to be female at the end! My daughter got a real kick out of that and it really opened doors to talking about how we're all the same on the inside!

Got my 7 year old to study anatomy
This book got my seven year old to read about anatomy. The reproductive section does show male and female inner parts in a subdued clinical way - no explanation of sex either just shows egg and sperm getting together to form a baby. I thought it was tasteful, my husband wondered if reproductive anatomy was age appropriate for a 7 year old. However, I read my mom's anatomy nursing books when I could crawl and it did not harm me any - in fact, I got a science degree when I grew up! The more you learn when you are young the easier learning will be in future.
