KNL-AAA Filter, Alkaline, Antibacterial & Antioxidant, reduces ORP, adds minerals up to 90 ppm, enhances alkalinity (up to pH 3.5), and inhibits the bacterial growth. It adds essential minerals in drinking water like calcium, magnesium, sodium and other essential minerals those are eliminated by RO membrane. As per medical recommendations, the alkaline drinking water strengthen immune system, improve metabolism, good for bone health and protect from several viral/bacterial diseases. Please note our blood vessel carries pH 7.4 but our stomach maintains pH 1.5 to pH 3.5 (highly acidic) to digest the food. Most of the foods we intake are acidic and RO water becomes more acidic (normally lies between pH 5.5 to pH 6.2). Acidic drinking water causes many diseases because acidic drinking water slows metabolism and consequently acidity, digestion problem, bone problem, bad cholesterol, cardiac, weakening body immune system etc. Due to weak immune system, we experience flue, viral fever etc more frequently because weak immune system cannot fight with harmful virus and bacteria. In case of excess consumption of acidic food/junk food/water, the body abnormally maintains pH of our blood causing many problems in long run. Please note high alkaline drinking water is again harmful for health and causing several problems on long run. As per WHO, EPA and BIS recommendations the acceptable range is pH 6.5 to pH 8.5 but ideal and good condition is pH 7.5 to pH 8 (use 3 to 4 drops pH testing liquid drop to test the water in 20 ml, match the colour and it must be green/dark green/light blue). Please use regulator in your water purifier to adjust the pH value of your drinking water. After installation, flush at least 10 litres water from AAA filter before use/drink and to adjust the pH of output water use regulator by using manual TDS adjuster and T Elbows. Alternative of TDS adjuster is NF20, NF40, NF60, NF80, reduces TDS 20%, 40%, 60% & 80% respectively. Use as per tap water TDS.
