The product quality is good but the dynamics is not too easy to handle for example the distance between left and right arm support is too wide so its difficult to walk with stretched arms and chest and also make difficult to exert force on walker through armThere should be distance adjustability between arm support to coupe with different people with different physics

Due to breaking my back last year and subsequent surgery, I need a walker to go any distance more than a couple hundred feet. I've been using a standard walker with small wheels on front and tennis balls on rear legs. I don't like that it encourages a bent posture when using it. This upright walker is far superior. While the rods stabilizing my spine won't allow me to stand completely upright, this walker by virtue of its height and hand position helps me stand as straight as possible. The day we assembled it I took a walk around the neighborhood which is something I haven't been able to do for a year. The parking brakes to hold it steady in the event you need to take a break and sit on the attached seat are a great idea and work well. Height of the arm rests and hand posts are completely adjustable vertically and horizontally. Price at Amazon is best I found when researching it and the free shipping was two days. I highly recommend this upright walker and ordering through Amazon.I previously ordered one directly from Elenker. It took two weeks to receive it and then it was not the model I ordered. Elenker's customer service is the worst I've ever experienced, and I had to call and email them incessantly for over a week to get any response. They finally sent a return label but still no refund. Too bad such a great product has such abysmal customer service. Makes me appreciate Amazon's shipping and return policies!

Brakes cold be better!

After several years using standard rollators and walkers, my lower back, shoulders, elbows and wrists suffered. I researched several brands of these upright walkers/rollators before choosing the ELENKER Upright Walker in white. The shipment arrived quickly and was surprisingly easy to assemble (no tools needed), even for someone like me who has severe osteoarthritis. The numerous pieces may seem intimidating but the illustrated instruction pamphlet is very clear and easy to follow - just keep all of the pieces in their individual bags until you're sure everything is there and only open a bag when ready to add that part to the frame. The ELENKER is amazingly maneuverable, turning on the proverbial dime, folds up using just one hand and fits perfectly in the back seat of my sedan (at 18 lbs, it's only a little heavier than a standard rollator but is actually easier to store in a vehicle). When folded, the ELENKER stands by itself...no need to lean it against a wall or piece of furniture! For me, it is perfect for use outside the house: trips to the doctor, grocery shopping, etc. Being able to stand more erect has been a blessing as the pain in my lower back, shoulders, elbows and wrists is gone and I can move with more confidence and ease! This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. If you are like me and have endured various pain from hunching over a standard rollator, do yourself a favor and purchase the ELENKER: you won't regret it. ** The one caveat is this: be sure to check the front wheels every day before using the walker as the nuts holding the wheels to the frame tend to slip a bit but can be tightened with just fingertips.

We purchased this walker for my mother-in-law, who was using one of those aluminium walkers (think tennis balls on the back legs), which kept her bent over and walking poorly and nervously. With this new, sturdy, upright walker, she is not only encouraged to keep her back straighter, which will help reduce spinal curvature, but she feels more confident in her walking. She has promised to get out of the house more often, and get some exercise. We'll see how that goes... :)The walker was reasonably easy for me to assemble, but I would wish for clearer instructions. The photographs are tiny and hard to see, and are not accompanied by enough words to make the assembly process clear. I'm quite good with assembling things (Ikea instructions don't pose any problems for me), but there is no way my mum-in-law would have been able to assemble this herself, and even I put the back wheels on the wrong side first time around, because I couldn't see the tiny pictures clearly. This is the only reason I took one star off the overall rating.Conclusion: Elenker makes a great, sturdy product that is less than half the price of the UpWalker, which we also investigated. It's a great value, and well worth the money to ensure that my mum-in-law walks more securely and more 'uprightly'.
