Easy to put in the ground
This is the easiest torch to get into the ground thanks to a little kick stand kind of metal that flips out from the pole. You can step on it to drive the pole into the ground. Seems like great quality. I’ve been using it for a week or so now every night and no issues.

Great torch with huge flame!
I love how big the flame is on this torch. sure the fuel doesn’t last as long, but i like the look of a big flame and the fact that it won’t get blown out by light winds.it was pretty easy to set up and wasn’t difficult at all. definitely a little pricey just for one torch, but great if you’re looking for the big flame. it also has a nice magnetic cap that puts the flame out quickly.one con is that it makes a LOT of soot and smoke. definitely don’t put it under a roof or a cover because it will turn black or make things near it covered in soot. it also covers itself in a lot of soot, but you can’t really see it since it’s a black torch. if you run it for a while the soot will build up and make it a little difficult to fill, but it’s really not that big of a deal. i’m sure the bitefighter fuel with less smoke will work better for this style of torch.one more slight con as i already stated was the fuel consumption. it burns a LOT of fuel. you might need to fill it up often if you use it every day, but just trim the wick a little and it will use less fuel. the higher the wick the bigger the flame.overall though it’s a great addition to my yard near the pool and gives off a great vibe. i would suggest this torch if you are looking for that big flame look. i would also suggest this torch over others due to it being able to hide the soot on the surface unlike the silver style one.

Good for the price...
I've had various tiki torches and prefer this type which is easier to fill than the cans which require removing and unscrewing to fill. These have a wide twist top that opens recessed holes to allow you to leave the torch in place when adding citronella. Tiki sells a similar "gun metal" model that holds twice the amount of fuel which I have had and prefer but are more expensive. I have gotten maybe five seasons out of these as they have eventually leaked.Since I already had one piece poles from previous touches purchased at a DIY store I am not using the four piece poles that came with these. I also slide the poles over steel rebar i have pushed into the ground to provide added stability. Its possible to easily overfill these style torches which results in the excess fuel burning in addition to the wick. Probably not good for the metal.

No pole
Nice looking torch head. Useless without a pole to mount it on.
