These are my personal opinions and my own tastes in jerky. 1. Maple Duck Stick - Very soft. Mild taste. No hint of maple. 2. Alligator Cajun Style - Spicy. Firmer than the Duck stick. Different texture and taste than beef I'm used to. 3. Kangaroo - Similar to Alligator in taste. More firm. So far nothing different about taste. 4. Alligator Mild - Similar to Cajun style but not spicy. Texture is good. Nothing outstanding. 5. Elk Peppered - Good and firm. Not as strong as some Peppered jerky I've had but a good enough kick. 6. Deer Teriyaki - Good texture. Teriyaki flavor is unlike other jerky of the same flavor. Good jerky. 7. Beef and Ostrich - Middle level firmness. Nothing unique about the flavor. Leaves a slight pepper/spice aftertaste which I like. 8. Beef and Buffalo Spicy Pepper - Strong smell. Somewhat firm and chewy. Good pepper kick. Good and pepper/spicy kick if you like the taste. 9. Jalapeno Pork - Very Hot. Not a fan of hot suace flavored extreme flavors. 10. Venison Fire Stick - Intentionally saved this one for last. Good spicy jerky smell. Very firm. Just the right amount of HOT but too hot for my jerky tastes. Spicy enough to bring tears. They all have a range of texture from chewy to firm. Most taste similar and with a few flavors having any distinct flavor. Maple duck was disappointing as I did not taste any maple flavor. My favorite would have to be the Beef and Buffalo Spicy Pepper. Not too hot and Pepper is one of my favorite jerky flavors. The last, Venison Fire Stick is too hot as far as jerky goes for me. For me the count vs cost isn't worth it. These are formed, paste ground meat sticks like Slim Jims. There are jerky sticks which are thicker and somewhat shorter and the same count is less than this pack. If this was actual strip of meet made into jerky each with their own flavor then it would be a purchase worth the price.
