I had these cabinets installed from Lowe's in 2004 and the bottom one broke where it attached to the frame. They don't have them locally and some cabinet guys told me to check Amazon. I looked on the old ones and they are this brand, thank goodness. I ordered two, just in case the other one breaks. They arrived the next day, and once I pried the big part open, it was clear how to put the two pieces together and just replace the old, broken one. They screws lined up prefectly, and they even came with foam pads to keep the doors from banging, which I had long ago replaced with some that don't match the color of my cabinets. Altogether, this was a very simple repair, which I was afraid was going to be difficult.

I'm grateful I was able to find this hinge through Amazon. I tried several hardware stores to no avail. I was very worried because the hinge broke on our 18 year old hickory kitchen bifold spice cabinet. I was able to install easily. I did buy a couple of extra hinges just in case.

We ordered these hinges to replace a broken hinge on 22 year-old kitchen corner cabinet with recycling cans. The cabined door has seen a lot of use and the hinge had broken where it attached to the cabinet frame. The new hinge turned out to be slightly smaller that what we had and was going to require drilling new holes, so we ended up calling a friend with the right expertise. He did the job in about 15 minutes and the new hinge works great. We only had to replace one hinge; once installed, it worked perfectly with the other old unbroken hinge. This is a complex hinge (a real engineering feat); the quality looks good; the hinge works great! I only gave it a 3 star rating on installation because we were intimidated by having to drill new holes in an oak cabinet. Our installer would probably have given it a 5-start installation rating; it took him no time at all!
