Can you use enameled cast iron cookware on this cooktop

Yes, the only difference between this & other electric cooktops is that the elements are solid cast iron. I love mine no drip trays needed with one solid piece. Easy clean up, too.

Can you use this with a 4 quart dutch oven?

i suppose it matters how large the bottom is! Hot plate surface is 7 3/4 wide! Guess you could hangover! Works great though for what I use it for in my motorhome!

Use this hot plate as you would any electric stove - best to size the pot base with the plate. Works very well!

is it 1800W for each burner seperately? or 900W for the one?

This is a single burner but if it were a two burner, the 1800W would be for both together. The burners may split evenly but usually one is a larger watt burner and the other a smaller watt. Usually if they split evenly then both burners will be the same size.
