The image is as expected and I like that it isn't ugly or boring to look at. I was initially content with the quality, but that goes to show why it's not a good idea to review something the day you get it. I have had this case less than two months and it's already cracking. I live in a moderate climate and this thing has never been exposed to extreme temperatures nor prolonged sunlight. However, in the areas most often folded (see pics) it is already beginning to crack and break away. This causes an annoying feel in my hands when I hold the case and it's only going to get worse.That being said, it does an excellent job of holding the kindle in a horizontal position for video watching and an acceptable job for propping it up vertically. The holes mean you can use the camera without having to remove the device and you can listen to audiobooks with the cover closed. Most importantly the case protects the screen and even provides some bumper against falls.

Loved the artwork (blue with tree branches), but case is very smooth/slippery texture and pretty thick (about 3/4" w fire 8 tablet), which made it harder to hold than I'd like (a problem when reading in portrait mode, since in this style of case, the stand is for landscape only). So I am returning and keeping another brand case that was slimmer and also included a hand strap to slide hand in when reading, and also had complete cutouts for the speakers instead of just dot holes. Still, seemed well made and sewn, so can't ding too much, but only recommend if you love the design

Update - I've been using this for less than 6 months. When I read with my Kindle, I fold the front cover back behind, which I assume is a normal way to use it. My Kindle is typically sitting on a desk/table when not in use, so the wear I am about to describe is not coming from being jostled around in a bag. The top edges of the middle of the case are cracking, as are the areas between the holes for the speakers. The blue color is also rubbing off on all the edges. I posted a photo. I'll keep using the cover, and it wasn't expensive, but I'm bummed it isn't holding up better.Original review -The design of this is beautiful in person. This is my second Kindle cover (this one for a new Kindle) from this company, and the previous one held up for many years and was still in good condition when the Kindle inside died. I like the faux leather finish of this and the felted material on the inside. My Kindle fits nicely, and the auto on/off works perfectly. I've been using it for almost two months and have gotten compliments. I recommend this folio.

Didn't hold up after 3 months. Corners are worn, the places where the cover bends to stand the Fire has cracked and the design had worn away at all hand holds. Waste of $ for a cover that hasn't held up.

Love this cover...just beautiful! And of course, like all covers I have purchased from Amazon over the years, it seems quite sturdy, seems durable enough to long outlive me, and Kindle fits as if into a cozy glove! More than worth the price! I do, however, need to share just how very special this particular cover is: a dedicated Amazon employee (aren't they all?) attempted to deliver this to me ON TIME during the absolute worst snow/ice storm in our state's history. Moments after the delivery deadline, I had a full refund. The next day, sitting cozy on our icy porch, was the familiar Amazon package containing the cover! Amazon did not provide me with a way to salute the employee, so BRAVO! And forgive me for "joke" review....we had some rough times! Bless you, Amazon!

I wanted to love this because it’s a cute design. Overall it is a decent case. Quality is less than expected, and the case is insanely slippery. I dropped it twice taking it out of the packaging and handling it. Another thing I don’t like that I had on my older model kindle case is the hand strap on the inside cover for one handed reading. Now this doesn’t advertise having that, but it’s definitely something to keep in mind while shopping for a case, that is if you’re planning on using it a lot for reading. If it were made out of a more durable, comfortable material, I probably would have kept it. I ended up reordering my old one for the new kindle, at a cheaper cost.

The case is protective, not bulky, just right. It comes in lots of designs and I love the colorful tree I chose. It easy to fold and slide the front into the back to make a stand for viewing. My third items by Fintiie. Completely satisfied. Thx!

I ordered this cover for my new Kindle Fire 8It is called the Tree of Life. It is colorful and very well made.It fits perfectly and will protect my kindle for years to come.On top of all that it arrived in just a few days and was very well packaged for it's protection while in transit.

This case is exactly as shown, very sturdy and the colours are vivid and very nice. I bought for my Mother who loves it. I would truly recommend. Very fast service as well.

It is very hard to put the tablet upright. The case has a little place on the behind that you need to pin the cover page and it is so hard to move to pin, I broke my nails several times while I try to place the case cover to the pin. There is no surprise that they did not put the photos of the behind of the case.

The camera was partially hidden. I had to file down the hole. I bought this for my 90yr old mother in law. She is finding it difficult to prop it up because the material in the back is stiff.

It’s cute. It’s not very sturdy. Tablet won’t prop up. But it’s a nice soft case. Reminds me of the tree of life. Very colourful very soft. And makes people look when they see it
