Fantastic bit of kit I originally got this to help with ICH outbreak in my tank and it really did help Worth every penny Super easy to install it is quite difficult to screw in place tho as the pipes are not the most maneuverable by mines been fine not attached to cabinet Very effective ich has gone completely and water is crystal clear verry Effective Nice size not very big at all will easily fit next to filter in any cabinet Not to sure on other reviews that said it leaks mine definitely does not Will be using a UV light on all my tanks from now on

Technically fairly simple to setup, but can be tricky if you have a large full tank and it backs against a wall. Probably helps if you have long arms. I ignored the use of the 2 screws provided to attach the clarifier and instead opted for some strong velcro tape. I purchased some 30mm wide velcro tape and found that several lengths of this provided a nice strong attachment to the back of my tank's cabinet. Once up and running the clarifier works a treat. I have a 260ltr tank which had a case of Algae Bloom; I left the clarifier running constantly for 6 days and it certainly cleared the problem. I have now switched the clarifier to run for 4 hours a day to see how I get on.

A Fluval product user for some years, the inline UV filter from Fluval once again, didn't disappoint. Simple to install and connect with near silent operation, it's suitable for even the most inexperienced aquarist. The cool operation is great as this avoids any heat transfer to the aquarium parameters, unlike most internal UV filters. The timer feature is also welcomed, meaning there isn't a constant drain on electricty. Very efficient and effective with crystal clear water, and a noticable absence of any problem algae across the entire aquarium.

Seems to work as expected. The bulb did stop working in only a few weeks but contacted seller and due to the short time the seller supplied a replacement bulb so great service from the seller.

I thought it would be good to have a clarifier to keep my water clear but I have the fluval 407 in my cabinet under the tank. This fitted to the flow output tube and then another tube fitted it to the tank output tube. The connectors worked well but it is an absolute nightmare to fix to the wall or cabinet because the tubing just won’t bend and flex enough to let it be screwed down. I did half manage only to find it was almost impossible then to get the filter tubes off the canister and back on. In the end I let it dangle precariously, leaving me worried about splitting pipes until I bought another better one that impairs bacteria and viruses and parasites too. This one just stops green water. Also the flow through needs to be slow on this one to even do that. I love fluval canisters and their aquariums and have both. But this I would definitely give a miss, not least because it doesn’t actually sterilise, only clarifies and because there is no way of actually seeing that it is working as it’s completely sealed. Also because they don’t supply the extra tubing needed to fit this properly to your Fluval canister. I bought a Tmc vecton v2 steriliser instead and am thrilled with it, it does it all.

Got this to put on my 307 canister. Was getting couldy water as i seem to overfeed. Cleared up in about a day. People say they take it down to 12 hours when sorted bit keeping mine on 24/7. Very happy with it and easy to fit. Higbly recommend if you like clear water.

L eau s éclaircie au bout de 24h. Mais, la lampe étant dans le boîtier, pas de changement de lampe possible donc il faudra racheter un appareil quand les algues reviendront... Avec la prise adaptateur fr/ anglais à acheter en plus, ça commence à faire un budget conséquent...Utilisé avec une pompe fluval 207 et aquarium planté 180l.

Ottimo prodotto chiarificatore e sterilizzatore dell'acqua. Io personalmente avevo in un acquario senza piante da 240 litri sempre acqua torbida con batteri in sospensione, dopo qualche che ho installato questa lampada UVC ho avuto l'acqua quasi cristallina. Lo consiglio insieme ad un filtro esterno askoll perche' questo impianto sterilizzatore nasce predisposto per gli attacchi di questo tipo di filtri. Comunque si puo' adattare anche a filtri esterni di altre marche.
