Cartman 1" x 12 ft Lashing Straps, 6 Pack, 600 lb Break Strength, Black | Cam buckles, corrosion-resistant silver finish, and a carry bag for securing gear

Just got back from a 400 mile road trip. I used these 4 straps to tie down my Roof / Cargo bag on the top of my Toyota Highlander. Worked like a charm! The straps are made well and strong. They are 12 feet so they're plenty long. The metal "buckle" on the end is also well made and *solid*. Be careful when swinging them around because they are like having a heavy rock on the end of a string when you're carrying these around. The buckle works great, but take your time initially threading the other end of the strap into it because it's a tight fit. I can see how the ends *could* eventually *fray*, but I figure it can be easily remedied by cutting and melting the ends with a little heat. Once the strap is threaded through, the buckle will hold that strap TIGHT! Releasing it is also easy by pressing the release tab. Those 4 straps held down my roof bag like a champ driving up to 90... I mean 75 mpg :) They each arrived nicely rolled up in a rubber band, but after using, it's pointless to reroll them so I carefully "folded" each one 3 times and tied a simple knot, then threw it inside the provided bag which was a NICE bonus because I have something to keep the store the straps in. Of course these can be used to strap down anything else. I can only attest that they are strong and the buckle will hold strong. It will come in handy for other uses. Great product and great price!

Nice straps at a very good price. Used them last weekend to tie down my art festival canopy tent and they worked great. Nice to have that carry bag for them as well.

These are, as described -- but getting them truly taught isn't easy depending on the conditions. After after being "locked", and pulling additionally, it doesn't always tighten and lock as would be expected -- and actually slides back a bit. I found that reversing the path worked better to achieve a more taught and solid configuration. Price can't be beat and strength is good. The nylon is slippery which is helpful for some situations but having a "grip" like with rubber sleeves, helps keep the straps from sliding too much -- which is another issue I had with these -- but keep in mind that the vendor didn't claim anything contrary to my experience. Just some FYIs for potential buyers.

I don't write reviews often, but these are nice. The material isn't the cotton crappy ones that bunch up and don't like to feed into the cam. They don't feel cheap, they feel quality. They included a carry bag, and it actually has a pull draw close on it; I was surprised, so I came to offer a review. Good job guys.

I bought those because I heard they were a good set and would last a long time. I need thr straps for my roof top tent. Well the strop itself is very thin and I do not think I could put any pressure on them with9ut them snapping, also with them being out in the sun they will get stiff and brittle within a year. The buckles seem alright, still cheap but just after installing them I regret buying this set. If I didn't have to cut them up I would return them.

I have purchased these in the past. So much more convenient to use than ratchet straps, and they take much less storage space in my SUV. Very simple to use. Be aware, these are not heavy duty. It is also convenient they come with a storage bag making it handy to just keep them all together in the cargo area.

Super quality, very tough and the colour makes it useful for use on the road. I use mine on my disability scooter. It really makes it show up on the road.

Very pleased with these - excellent length - great quality. Used multiple ones to support plate glass on a deck - and they worked extremely well. Come in a handy bag and well worth it.

Simple and strong straps, I use them to suspend bicycles from roof beams in the garage. They clamp and release with ease. Pity they only have one colour in the set
