I't good, but not as good as some people make you think it is.
Don't get me wrong, it's a decent album from a decent band but it's not brilliant, like some other reviews. The use of 5 stars has to be reserved for game changing albums which will last in your memory till the day you die.I've had it for a few weeks now and it's not ever going to make it into my top 100 albums of all time. The 5 star rating some people have given it is more than generous i feel. It's the kind of album that you'll come across on your mp3 every now and again, and go "oh i haven't heard that in a while". You'll listen to it, enjoy it but then soon forget it. Some albums will stay with you forever, whilst this is decent, it's also slightly forgettable. Worth £3 of anyone's money though

No Crystal Sounds!
I ordered the album 'Crystal Sounds' by 13 Senses. I had their first two albums and was looking forward to receiving the third album. My excitement on opening the package soon turned to disappointment when the wrong CD had been sent.

Why has this band never made the big time!
The third album, and still not in the big time. Why not I ask my self. Okay not everyones taste, but you need to take time and listen and grow into the riffs and lyrics. You might be pleasantly surprised.

upbeat light rock
This album is very easy to enjoy. It is an album of strong upbeat sounds that can quickly engage and carry you long, easy going rock. It lacks the depth of quality to make it a great, but the work all sounds original and fresh. The male vocal, tenor in tone, carries you along from song to song, sounding fresh and with an invitation to listen. It is quite a lengthy album, it maybe struggles to fully engage for its whole length, but lets not fault it for that. Lively sound, easy to get in to, you cannot go wrong with this.

Soothing your senses
Smooth as ever, Crystal Sounds sounds good first time you hear but the more you listen the more it grows on you. I cannot add much to ealier reviews other than to give it a high rating but would say the Invitation is even better. If it was not for the quality of that first album I would give this 5 stars. So if you like this then do yourself a favour and get The Invitation and equally good follow up album "Contact".

Ansome!
Crystal sounds is playing while viewing the Minack Theatre's webcam, watching stormy waves, bliss! Perfection would be Thirteen Senses playing live there!I'd forgotten about this band and I'm so glad I've rediscovered them and found this.

Stunning!
Stunning album, and far superior to their first two releases. Well crafted melodic rock at its spine-tingling best, and there are at least 3 bona-fide 5-star songs on this album, plus a handful of other excellent tunes. Very highly recommended.

Keane...take note.
This is the album Keane should be wishing they made ever since the absolute nonsense they have suddenly started to produce. Thirteen Senses have produced one hell of a gem here, cleaver stuff with lots more cleaver stuff in the background when you listen to this album on headphones. I know I keep going on about it, but I loved Keane`s first two albums, hated everything after that, this album has a lot of similar stuff going on, and at times the singer guy who I am ashamed I know not his name, actually sounds a bit like the other guy, him from Keane who`s name I know not either. I believe I will be playing this till the spinny thing in my CD player crys out for mercy, and then I`ll listen to it on me MP3 player, love this album, love this band. Keane...take note.
