The product instruction is in Chinese. I looked up the brand( B & K aquarium hang on filter) in YouTube to get it working. Point to be noted- after fixing the parts, pour water into the pump then it will work.

For the price im impressed..workes well and plently of space for bio media It is completely silent once u prime it with water and works very well..trasparent looks good to with lava rock as filter media Using it as a support filter for my large tank with dymax

i was expecting it to be a tiny pump but i was surprised that it is bigger than im expecting

people who says it didnt work it is because they dont know how to use it. to avoid sounds just make sure u have enough water. it does work.

Good fish tank filter easy to setup and looks appealing. You could remove the existing filter and add your own if you wish. If you read any reviews saying it's not working don't believe them it's working fine you just have to pour water into it first to get it running. As for the noise you have to make the water level the same as the surface skimmer which is used to catch any debris that is on the surface of the water. When the water level gets lower than the surface skimmer air bubbles will get in and that will result in noise. Update: I've had it for around 2 months and I've had my own cotton filter inside it and I've had to replace it for another larger filter that was the same price as this one as the flow rate of water was decreasing and it wasn't filtering as much water.
