Love it! Helped me with my troublesome ABS!
I received this scanner back in Dec 31 2024 but waited a while for the review. I needed a good scanner that could read ABS codes since i had some and my regular OBD2 Bluetooth/Wi-Fi reader couldn't read them. I have a 2010 Tahoe that would sometimes immediately would throw the ABS light on and the shifter would lock and not let me select a gear until it eventually would, and the times it didn't lock up and switch into Drive fine, i would get the ABS light less than 3 minutes later and then always followed by the red Brake light that typically would light up if you engaged the e-brake. According to some forums i came across, i changed the ABS wheel speed sensors, the pads, and even the front calipers which were overdue anyways. But problem was still there. Long story short, decided to get this scanner taking a gamble based on other reviews mentioning that theirs didn't read ABS, but this one reads mines perfectly! My problem turned out to be the Brake switch on the brake pedal and also found the Power Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor on the codes, both replaced and voila! No more issues with the gear level and ABS light hasn't come on since that day! Also tested this on the following vehicles:2008 and 2016 GMC Yukon XL and both showed Engine, ABS, and Transmission modules.2018 Chevy Trax - same results2013 F150 - same results2009 GMC Acadia - same results2005 and 2009 Nissan Altimas - same.Hope this was helpful for some of you!

Foxwell NT604 Elite Scanner
This Foxwell NT604 Elite scanner has already saved me hundreds of dollars! As a 2016 Subaru Forester owner, I was able to easily diagnose an ABS light sensor problem myself, instead of taking it to a mechanic. It does exactly what it claims, providing accurate and comprehensive diagnostics, and the interface is incredibly user-friendly. Highly recommended!

Great Product, Time Efficient
Works very well. You're able to plug this into your car and run diagnostic tests, and then using the USB option, you can view the reports at home when plugged into your computer or an outlet. Very efficient and runs diagnostics relatively quickly.

Not good for European Cars. Spend extra $100 to get better tool than this.
This is ok obd reader but not at all good to use for advance diagnosing.Gave me wrong wrong diagnosis for my VW.Get VCDS Hex V2 it will save your time and money. This tool is ok for American but not at all good for European.

This works fine, once I got it working...
The short version: It has no batteries so it must be plugged in to use. Not a problem unless you want to wander around with it. For the price, I'm fine without batteries or Bluetooth. Updates happen via you PC USB port with an included Micro SD card reader over the internet. The processor is rather slow, as others have mentioned, but for the price, I'm fine with it.The UI is rudimentary but fairly easy to understand and supports multiple languages.TLDR: I have only just started using the Foxwell OBDII scanner today, 2 days after I received it. Out of the box, it wasn't working properly. The screen displayed correctly when I first plugged it in, but after browsing a few functions, all of the Icons and type disappeared. A few of the functions displayed very faint messages and I was disappointed. I unplugged and tried again. The same thing happened.Time to give support a test. I went to my order and clicked "Get product support" I tried the self help options, but they were pretty lame and of no use (at least for this product). Next I chose "Call me" and my phone instantly rang and a support person answered almost immediately. She asked for my name and knew what I was calling about. I described the problem and she had me unplug the unit and hold down the OK button for 15 seconds. I plugged it back in and my problem was solved! BINGO!Registering the unit is a quick trip to www.foxwelltech.us/register.html and updating the software and vehicle data is done at www.foxwelltech.us/support-tools.html where you can download the Windows Desktop Application and install/update it.I will have to update my review after I try using some of the features on my various cars, I have a '23 Bolt EUV, a '22 Toyota Prius, and a '16 Subaru Impreza. I'll give them a shot and add more details later.BOTTOM LINE: So far, so good. Longevity/reliability has yet to be tested.
