O'SKOOL Turners Mesh Sanding Abrasive Roll with Dispenser – 5 Grits Variety Pack (180, 240, 320, 400, 600)

Very good wood abraisive mesh for wood turning. The aggregate stays sharp for longer than my standard paper roll and doesn't clog. Also doesn't project the dust as much, a lot of the dust flows out through the mesh rather than being thrownout by the workpiece. The material is also quite flexible so can be moulded into and around details. Nice selection of grit sizes in a handy box. The cutting edge isn't much use though, I find it easier to cut off a short length with a sharp knife or scissors.

Been using some of these grades for about a week, and find that they work very well, and more importantly last quite well too. A very handy, if expensive item to have in your workshop.

These fine, narrow grit tapes have already solved a tricky problem for me - cleaning oxide off a complex stainless steel structure without wrecking the finish. Grinding and polishing tools had failed miserably. I'm now looking forward to using them for delicate wood turnings. The mesh prevents burns from dust build-up. OK the dispenser is cardboard and won't last for ever in my rough-and-tumble workshop. But it's so easy to tear off whatever length and grit I need, whenever I need it. And it keeps tidy what could easily become a writhing tangle of hard-to-distinguish grits. I've already stocked up with replacement grits, and I'm already planning to make a bigger version to take 4" wide mesh rolls. I just love it!

This mesh selection provides a great range of fine finishing grits. I've never bought paper or cloth since I was first given a strip of mesh. Mesh is forgiving if used or stored in damp conditions. Should last me for many years.

Great sanding mesh for the price. Does a good job on finishing my products. HOWEVER.... The blue ink they've used to print words onto the mesh can be transferred to your piece. Cellulose sanding sealer seems to be able to dissolve it and smear it into the wood grain. Make sure your sealer is dry and take light passes with the mesh and you can get away with it, but it's very easy to over do it and end up with blue streaks thru your work.

Good sanding mesh I can recommend it.

Only used a small amounts of a couple of the grades so far, easy to use and they work well. Price wise they are comparable with similar products. The cutting strip isn’t very sharp, however with a little force it does cut. Time will tell how durable the mesh is.

Excellent product and abrasive, the box is a handy idea, just dont use the cutting blade (blunt). The abrasive strip tears easily by hand so not needed 👍

Gut geeignet für das schleifen von Holz. Einzige Nachteil zu bedenken: der blaue Schriftzug kann gegebenenfalls auf das Holz abfärben.
