This works really well and sits flush to the usb port. You can connect almost any bluetooth device with this and it should be made available on your pc. There are no drivers, it uses the built-in Windows 10 drivers for bluetooth. If you don't have Windows 10, you should get it while it's free. I am sure the drivers are the same for Win7 and 8.1 as well.The only problem, and this is a problem that is true for 98% of bluetooth dongles you will see on the market is that it is not APTx LL. Which means that if you have a bluetooth headphones, you will notice lag in videos. By that I mean you will notice that the lip syncing is off. Sort of like a re-dubbed japanese flick. It renders movies unwatchable.So beware, do not buy this thinking you can connect your bluetooth Beats by Dre headphones and be good. You have to look for bluetooth dongles that EXPLICITLY states they are APTx LL (low latency). Creative Labs makes one for 40 bucks, so does Avantree. Also, your headphones must be Aptx LL as well.My only other gripe is that you cannot use two headphones at the same time, to share audio from your pc to two people. Once again, I believe this to be a limitation of the technology.This bluetooth dongle is probably the best for less mission critical listening\file transfers\tethering\wireless controller connecting purposes. For example, I have a PS4 controller connected using this and it works great on the PC.Finally, be aware that BT is a networking protocol. Meaning having this hooked up to your laptop puts you in greater risk than someone who doesn't have wireless capabilities. And because this white label dongle sits nearly flush to the usb port, its easy to forget it's there. So if you know you won't be using it for a long time, it's best to leave this unplugged. There are tons of exploits that can give someone access to your computer files and data over bluetooth connectivity.

This sits flush in the laptop's USB port, unlike the dongle that came with my wireless mouse. Truly plug and forget. The software has been working without any problems. I almost passed on this product based on prior reviews. I am glad I didn't. Most all new devices come with built in Bluetooth but if needed I will buy this product again.

Just received this item in the mail and plugged it right in.Pros/Likes :1. Small profile. i just plugged this in to a rear usb port in my desktop and even though no one looks back there anyways, this device just disappears into the computer. i love that.2. It works! biggest and most important thing. I only plan to use the device to operate my desktop with a bluetooth keyboard and trackpad. And they both work with no issues....yet.Cons/Dislikes :1.The program that manages the bluetooth device is old and a pain in the a** to work with. Its fairly easy to use once you get the steps, but nowadays this program should be beautifully designed and have a one click new device pair/setup. The program for this device does not. When you open the program all the available bluetooth devices appear. But they have the Bluetooth ID (i believe its called) and not the product name. for example, instead of seeing "Logitech Keyboard" i see "XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX". Now, there is an option to "Retrieve Device Name" BUT it fails everytime, unless you pair to the device first. Well thats annoying, because i have specific devices i want to pair. Not my phone, not my bluetooth speaker. So unless you know the bluetooth ID to each of your devices you'll just roll the dice at pairing the ones you actually want. This is only the beginning, bear with me here. Once its "paired" you're still not actually connected to the device in a "you can use it now" sense. My keyboard wouldnt type and my trackpad wouldnt move the cursor. You then have to "Retrieve Device Name". For some reason, My devices wouldnt work without doing this first. Dont feel like going into all the troubleshooting i did to figure it out. Just know, if youre trying and its not working, this may be a step youre missing. Still not using the device yet. YEP THERES MORE! NOW, you have to select "Connect Bluetooth Human Interface Device". NOW you cn use the device. Ive found these steps work for me. Ive unpaired the devices and tried skipping these steps, but id always get a "passkeys do not match, please try again" message.SO anyways, it looses a star for old and annoying software. It does what it needs to do and meets my needs on the hardware side, so im happy in that aspect.

I wanted a small Bluetooth receiver for my 10-year-old netbook, first Lenovo S-10, so my 7th grade daughter can take it to school with her. Most of the one I found stuck out a lot more than I wanted. This one is just perfect, it sticks out less than 1/4 of an inch. One part that worries me is the USB port doesn't has the metal square around it, not too sure how it will be after long time usage. Also I believe is because lack of metal casing around USB port, it goes in tilted, no matter how hard I tried, it won't goes in straight. Other than small physical doubt. The device works wonderfully, no problem paring with Microsoft arc touch mouse. The laptop is 10 years old, max out ram and harddrive, upgraded to Windows 10, now with bluetooth capability, just perfect!

This is a generic Bluetooth dongle that is absolutely tiny. I believe it is running the Qualcomm CSR8510 chipset. I am only using it with a mouse and keyboard on my main computer, a job that it is performing without issue. The dongle auto-installed easily enough under Windows 10 and was good to go within seconds. I have not tried it with audio yet but I think you will have to avoid the generic Windows driver for this and load the one on the supplied mini-CD so that you can get the highest possible audio quality.

Mi serviva una scheda bluetooth per il mio computer fisso e questa era quella al prezzo più basso quindi ho pensato di prenderla.Ho installato i driver del CD fornito e la scheda non mi veniva riconosciuta (ho Windows 10).. Ho provato su diversi computer e sempre lo stesso problema. Cosi per caso ho disinstallato i driver e la scheda magicamente ha iniziato a funzionare correttamente. Roba da pazzi.Quindi mi raccomando all'inizio inseritela senza installare i driver e vedete se vi funziona prima di installarli!

Collegato al mio PC fisso non l'ho più tolto. Funziona molto bene, il segnale è stabile anche con più dispositivi collegati contemporaneamente.

Dato il prezzo è un buon prodotto ma se si deve utilizzare per l'uso delle cuffie non è molto efficiente, buono per la trasmissione dati da cel a pc e viceversa.
