works great, almost free!
I have used this product on heavily soiled areas with good results. One reviewer thought it was rather expensive. However, you get a gallon bottle (128 oz) for 27.25. You mix 1 cup of the solution with 1 gallon of water. That gives you a total of 16 gallons (2048 oz) of carpet pretreat. The pretreat you purchase mixed comes in 22 oz bottles (not including all the plastic bottles and sprayer head that goes to the landfill boo hiss :^( ), therefore you get the equivalent of 93 bottles of pretreat. For comparison, Bissell pretreat is $5.99 on Amazon. $27.25 for the Nilodor 1 gallon concentrate is equivalent to $.29 per 22 ounces made up (I think my math is right, I checked it several times). I say a great buy!!I forgot to say that I don't use a spray bottle. I use a squirt bottle and wet well, then scrub with a brush. I then do the same with the carpet shampoo and follow with a plain water rinse. It doesn't do any good to go to all the trouble if you leave the dirt in the carpet!(You can get squirt bottles at the grocery store in the kitchen supplies. You may need to cut the top to get a good stream. )

Good Stuff
I used this product to pretreat dog stains on our carpet and it worked much better than anything you can get at Home Depot or Lowe's. I did use hot water in my pump sprayer and hit it with the stream and let it sit a good 10 minutes then I reapplied it and let it sit another 5 minutes. The results were fantastic. I definitely recommend this product.

its is all about between cleaning.
so far so good. I used to be in the carpet cleaning business. but I have gotten out of it for some time now. I remember endcap solution tho. and for a homeowner, this is the ticket. I think I would still prefer my carpet to be extracted by a professional, but on high traffic areas just squirt it on. scrub it in. let it set and extract. everytime you vaccum it looks better and better. but eventually you will still need to have the pros come but for day to day traffic and spills this works great. and the gallon will last a long time.

Great product for pretreatment!
This product worked great as a carpet pretreatment! Spray it on 10-15 minutes prior to using the carpet cleaner and it makes it much easier to get ridden of stubbornnstains
