Simplicity of use and good dectecting depth for a budget detector. The inclusion of headphones in the package is a plus. Shame the 2 x 9Volt batteries are NOT included; but this is stated in the description information. Fun to use.

Easy to use and very light in weight, I have found it very good and finds metal objects very precise. For the price its a very good detector.

Found a 14k gold ring on my second day out with it. Sold the ring for well over $200! I would say this is a must buy for a beginner -- it's entry level for sure, but definitely worth it. It isn't great in very wet salt water and the discrimination is not great. Won't find a ring or coin more than a couple inches deep, but I did find some cans over a foot down. The headset is cheap, but works really well and is very comfortable. All-in-all a perfect detector for someone trying out the hobby and not looking to spend a fortune.
