Just order it! I have a pretty wicked distal fibula fracture. It’s a type A, but that doesn’t really matter seeing as EVERYTHING is uncomfortable. I keep it wrapped and in a walking boot or tight ankle brace to sleep in but since it’s right on the outer part of my ankle everything touches it and it’s just a pain in the ass. This boot is literally heaven. You can manipulate the strap that lays on the ankle. The strap doesn’t even come close to touching it and since it can be fastened tight it stops everything from touching. You can see in the pics. It’s open at the top enough to still zoom around on my knee scooter without the top of the boot getting in the way. It doesn’t weigh nearly anything so it’s very easy to wear all day. It feels like a warm hug on your leg. It supports your calf very well. You can rest it on the corner of a table and it’ll be comfortable. I’m 5’8, 180 pounds, size 9 shoe, and I got the large. Plenty of room and fits perfectly. Side sleeper? Can’t find anything comfortable? This is the way to go. Difficult fibula fracture? This is the only good house boot.

I believe this helped with my Planter Faciitus 100%. I wore it every night to bed for 2 months. It is soft and comfortable against your leg. I did add a face cloth underneath my foot to help it stay in place better. I feel this was the right one for me after looking at so many. The velcro straps work great and the material is soft against your skin, you do not feel the velcro at all. A+

It works. I’ve been wearing it for a little over a month while sleeping and I’ve had much improvement. This coupled with some arch supporting foot wear, and daily stretches, has really aided my recovery. The straps do start to become less effective as time goes on. You can change the way they are positioned to help that, or add a wrap to help them stay in position. The boot itself is sturdy. Would definitely recommend if you dread those first few steps in the morning.

This is the best night splint I ever had . The only improvement I did was got non slip and put on the bottom. I have wood floor and it was a little slick.
