Excellent sizer when used with natural bristle brush
Excellent sizer when used with natural bristle brush, its water based so it takes really 24 hours to really dry. Use natural bristle brush for carved surface or canvas, on other plain walls pop after base coat use with cotton cloth or use spray version

Good basic adhesive for metal leaf
I was new to imitation gold leaf gilding and this adhesive worked very well. Application with a proper brush was very easy. It goes on a little whitish in color and dries clear, you must let it get tacky before applying the gold foil. It's not easy but it's not difficult either, it does take some practice to get it right. Once the gold is on and smooth, its appearance looks like real gold, it's beautiful.

Worked Great!
I was apprehensive to buy this after seeing reviews of the solution solidifying, but no problems from my experience. The bottle is very small but you don’t need much. I didn’t even use 1/8 of the bottle. I was applying faux gold leaf sheets to acrylic sheets for my wedding signs and they turned out great. Because I was using such little dabs of this with a paint brush I didn’t really “wait” for this to dry like recommended, applied the leaf sheets almost immediately and it worked like a charm. Really happy with the results, and now I want to gold leaf everything! I would recommend.
