Early this year I watched a webinar that caught my attention because it linked "faith" to "fitness". Kim Dolan Leto was one of the speakers. As a highly trained person in the Sciences of Exercise and Nutrition, I have had the head knowledge for years on the "how to's" of being physically fit. But for all of my life (I am almost 50), there has been enough of a disconnect that I, within my own power, have not been able to maintain a physically fit body. Kim made the connection for me that day in her presentation that I had been missing--God must power the my renewal of my mind so that I can let Him transform my body!I bought her book, "F.I.T. Faith Inspired Transformation" THAT very day!! She has been gifted with a writing style that makes you feel like she is right there with you cheering you on. She makes it clear that relying on God for your strength is the only way to succeed. She writes from the heart; but, with authoritative knowledge of the body, nutrition and exercise. Kim has filled her book with scriptures that I have known; but, she helps to connect them to your faith and fitness journey in a way that movtivates and has lasting meaning. She gives tool after tool for me to put to immediate use for success in my food and fitness endeavors. Her manner of encouragement has helped me to have a different mind-set so that I am creating a healthier relationship with food.Kim's desire for her reader to focus on the Jesus Christ and His power is evident. For me, it was a light bulb moment to discover that this area of my life--physical fitness--was the last area that I needed to turn over to the LORD for Him to take control so that I can become a disciple who is not only wholly and dearly loved; but, WHOLE mentally, spiritually AND now, physically!! Even if you don't believe you have faith, or know anything about God or Jesus, you will be encouraged toward success for your health and wellness. I have ditched diets and started to use a faith-based approach to eating moderately and healthfully. This book is one of many I am reading along these lines and it's a favorite. It's very inspirational and has good meal plan suggestions as well. Losing weight to look good and fit into a certain size is becoming less important to me than treating my body as a temple and practicing the virtue of temperance. Interesting enough, losing weight becomes a natural by-product of practicing temperance, and in a more permanent way.

The biggest struggle I have had with people asking me for fitness advice or even as I have embarked on my own fitness journey is that everyone wants a quick fix, including myself. People are always trying the newest product or life-changing ab machine. Even when I have been at my best, photoshoot ready and getting to a low body fat percentage, I have always felt like there was something missing. People think there is an " I made it" phase in fitness and health. You will always want to be more fit, be on more covers, have a bigger social following, lower body fat percentage, more muscle.etc. I have found that true happiness and fulfillment is found when my relationship with Christ is at its strongest and can only be found with a Faith Inspired Transformation. There is nothing better than combining fitness and healthy with a heart of God. Kim teaches you just that! As a male who has been into fitness for a while, I wasn't thinking this book would change my life or provide me with information I didn't already know.. I was blown away to be wrong. Kim has done such a great job with this book and you can tell she put EVERYTHING she had into it. Every step to become F.I.T she guides you through with impressive, clear detail. I cannot say enough about this book. I challenge you to purchase this book, it will change your life!

Well, here it is.My wonderful sister in Christ Kim Dolan Leto has written this amazing book on how to be "Healthy, Happy and Fit God's Way" through F.I.T. (Faith Inspired Transformation). The one thing her book IS NOT is a new "diet program!" We are "fearfully and wonderfully made" by God. Seeing myself as God sees me definitely alleviates the pressures of this world to "be perfect" or someone God has not called me to be. This is about transforming myself from the inside out...through the word and food of God.I am truly inspired and empowered by Kim's testimony and transparency. I would highly recommend her book to anyone who wants to get off the "diet program" roller coaster and become who God has called you to be in a "Healthy, Happy and F.I.T" way.God Bless#BUTGOD

I am enjoying listening over and over to this book an enjoying how Kim makes it real that without God, its a struggle, with God its a journey in stewardship of our bodies. She does an excellent job of making this not about looking like the perfect model but making it about health and self control, eating the way God designed and looking to HIm for help to do it. No scale worship, just the truth that consistent effort and making God the center is where long lasting results come, and where a relastionship with the One who created us can be like you never thought it could be. God is our friend and concerned with the thing we are concerned about. Keeping Him the center, doing it with the right motive, is key. Way to go Kim! Excellent resource.

This is a well-written book by Kim Dolan Leto. Not only is this a wonderfully put together book just to look at--every page is well designed and the glossy pages are full of vibrant colors--it is packed full of inspirational as well as educational material that would help anyone get off the old cycle of dieting then regaining the weight that was lost. This book is a must for anyone wanting to become fithe regardless of their reason for doing so.

An absolute must have, for ALL people who are serious about GOD and serious about being FIT and healthy, creating a temple where the Holy Spirit would want to dwell....

A great mental support for helping to lose weight and get fit. Would highly recommend.

It was really inspiring to read advice from Christian lady about getting fit from the inside out. Her testimony is inspiring....

Nothing you can't figure out for yourself in this book.

This is excellent information on how to make a lasting change & the solution is God-allowing Him into every part of your struggle;asking Him to help u identify negative self-talk & asking Him to give u positive replacement thoughts-I've done this before but didn't rely completely on God-been struggling with weight for 30 years-why didn't I think to give it completely to God? It's really working & I know it will b for good😇
