Q: Will 12oz. cover a large area? small waterfall

This product expands a lot and is used for filling in spaces, stopping leaks around rocks and for keeping rocks from falling or moving once placed. One can should fill in around a good amount of rocks if used as intended. I had a small leak in my koi pond waterfall (a rock worked loose) and this worked beautifully for that repair.

Q: Is is safe for my fish pond

Yes - very safe for fish ponds. I've used it on both our fish ponds for years and no issues.

Q: will it work on WET surface

I believe the surface should be dry and clear of dirt/grease/algae,etc. when it is applied. After it cures it can be wet.

Q: Would this repair a hole in a very thick vinyl in my Fisk pond?

I wouldn't trust it long- term against water pressure and bacteria, etc. You can buy special pond liner repair tape which is black vinyl with extra sticky waterproof glue.
