A great album
25 is the third album by Adele, released in 2015 (after 2008's 19 and 2011's 21). The smash hit from the album was Hello, which rivaled her hit Rolling in the Deep from 21. This was much less of a "breakup" album than 21 was, with the songs being more about moving on with life as we age. I think she got progressively better over the course of the three albums. On this one, all of the songs are very good, even though not all of them ended up being huge hits. But, it is definitely not an album that has one or two good songs and the rest of it is unlistenable as is the case with some artists. She has proven that she is far more than a one-hit-wonder, and she keeps getting better over time. And, of course, she can actually sing and does not have to rely on production tricks to make her sound better as a lot of today's pop artists have to. So, if you were a fan of her first two albums and/or music that falls more into the adult contemporary category, then this is definitely worth listening to.

As always...Adele is plain amazing!
My daughter wanted a record player for her birthday. We have a lot of albums but not a lot that we knew she would love...at least not at first. We decided to get her an album to go with her new record player. She loves Adele so we decided on her newest album. Love it so much. This is the first album I have bought in 7 years. It takes a lot for me to buy an album and I am not disappointed. I love her and her voice, Adele never lets me down. I just get lost in thoughts when I play any of her songs.25 is the third studio album by British singer and songwriter Adele. It was released on 20 November 2015, through XL Recordings. Following the release and international success of her second studio album 21, Adele considered quitting the music industry and going out on a positive note. However, she decided to take a hiatus instead and raise her son. During her sabbatical, she suffered from writer's block and rescheduled studio sessions for a new album, fearing she had lost her ability to write songs. In 2013, Adele had a breakthrough and the material that eventually became 25 manifested, with writing and recording continuing through 2015.Titled as a reflection of her life and frame of mind at 25 years old, 25 is a "make-up record". The album's lyrical content features themes of Adele "yearning for her old self, her nostalgia", and "melancholia about the passage of time" according to an interview with Adele by Rolling Stone, as well as themes of motherhood and regret. In contrast to Adele's previous work, the production of 25 incorporated the use of electronic elements and creative rhythmic patterns, with elements of 1980s R&B and organs.

Oh the angst of love!.
Oh the angst of love!.... no one does it better than Adele. She gives voice to every person who has been dumped, excluded, rejected, dismissed and has made millions expressing human heartache on a grand scale. She is like a sad, beautiful human bell ringing mournfully in the night. IN all seriousness, what a set of pipes this lady has. The songs are nearly all exquisite; there really isn't a dud track on the whole album. Were I to quibble I would say there are a few too many references to getting older; my goodness, Adele, I hope you are not as obsessed with youth and aging as you sometimes sound in these songs. There is time for that much later... go to Paris, see the world, and enjoy being the impossibly rich woman you are! There is more to life than romantic anguish hopefully; as one of your sounds astutely observes, one can be quite lonely within the confines of a relationship as well as on one's own. This is a beautifully produced work of art; I like it much better than her last album, but that one was no slouch either. She will need a bus to take home all her Grammys.

Still got it!
I love Adele, and after obsessively listening to Hello, I was so excited to buy this album to hear all the songs. I never buy music anymore (with satellite radio and the internet) let alone a whole album. But it was completely worth it. I have to admit... I was a little worried after I listened to the 30sec snippets of each song. A few songs seemed like they might be a miss for me, but once I listened to each complete song, I was not disappointed. Send my Love was one I was worried about, but oh my goodness... it is catchy! I think it's one of my favorites! But I like every song... I mean really like each one.Standouts for me: Hello (of course!), Send my Love, I Miss You, Remedy, Water under the Bridge, River Lea, Love in the DarkStill great: When We were Young, Millions Years Ago, Sweet DevotionLeast Favorite: All I AskAll I Ask it is still a good song, but it's a little bit of a sappy ballad and this morning I'm really enjoying the more upbeat songs, because of my mood. My opinion on the song may improve when I'm feeling sappy myself. ;)Some think this sounds too much like 21. I disagree. The theme is different. It's more about moving on than it is about breaking up. Also, several songs have very unique sounds. Send my Love is perfect example of this. Of course, it is still music that you would expect from Adele, but that's what makes it so great! She doesn't let her fans down by trying to be something totally different and inauthentic. We love her music for her voice, the meaningful lyrics, and the raw emotion. 25 doesn't let you down. <3Bottom line: She's definitely still got it! I highly recommend.
