I purchased a pair of these for my wife and myself. Excellent grip on snow and ice. No slippage at all. The fit our shoes snug, not too tight, and haven't slipped off. We are not using the cross straps at this time, but am glad they were included. We are using these to walk the dog in the winter. If we were into climbing (and a lot younger) I can see where the cross straps would be used. So far they're holding up great!

These are great ice cleats - except for the minimal toe coverage.The material is good and sturdy and the metal cleats are very good.The velcro strap is a great idea so you don't lose the cleat if it comes off your boot/shoe.The main problem - there's not enough material used on the toe part of it and they tend to slip off the toes.I remedied the flaw by inserting a boot lace through the toe loop and secured it to my boot - problem fixed.I"ve tried to include a photo but it won't work.

Easy to put on. Fit per sizing chart. Easy to walk in and did what they were supposed to. Never slipped on ice (used in Iceland(

I was trying to find a way i could run faster and not feel like i was going to fall, these were perfect! Can run all over the dirt road and out in my pastures without worrying about losing traction.

Seems like a good idea and well made but will not stretch to fit size 10 mens shoe.

Only used once so far for couple hours. But seem well made and they keep you from landing on your behind. Exactly what I wanted. The strap across the foot helps keeps them in place as well which is a definite plus

Have not used these yet, but have used similar products. I bought 2 pair, one for me and one for my husband. His pair is missing one of the straps that go over the top of the foot. If need be, we will rig up something to make it work. Don't want to go thru the hassle of returns etc.......

I used them during our first ice storm and they held me up. Easy to walk in and if this helps at all, My husband has a prosthetic leg. He asked me to get him a pair and he walked on ice almost better than he does on solid ground. He is very happy with them as am I!

Fits over my winter boots well and straps help keep it in place. Great for snow and ice cover roads.

For a regular shoe the size is appropriate. But is going on hiker get a larger size. Although they are constructed well. They work great.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought these for additional grip from snow and ice as I live in an area with harsh winters. I ordered these despite the strap length issue as I noticed that it could probably be hooked differently, and it does. I’ve seen quite a few post about the length of the strap not being sufficient to reach over, but it’s the way it was hocked up that’s causing that issue. Please see video of how I did mine if you need help adjusting yours to fit. I have lots of room to go so this is not an issue anymore. I wear size 8.5 (woman) and chose the medium size. It stretches really well and looks pretty snug. Very easy to install. The spikes look solid but ill give an update once I’ve use these a few times to comment on durability.

I walk 5km almost daily. I got these to replace a cheap pair from Costco that I had for a long time which were very hard to put on. These pair were much easier to put on. The Velcro strap adds some support but took me forever to figure out how to use it. After 5x 5km walks which are on paved pathways covered or partly covered with snow/ice or clear, I noticed that the metal spikes are wearing down quickly. The metal must be super soft and when you walk on dry pavement, must really rub off. I think these may only last one winter. For the price they are fine.My walk yesterday, there was more ice and I found that these did not grip well. So I wouldn’t wear these for running.I wouldn’t buy again.
