True Utility Tu1319 Tu305 Angle Head Torch

Yes it's expensive for an led torch, but the case is a heavy alloy and the features of the side shining beam and flats on the head make it invaluable addition to any service engineers toolbox. The switch is on the head so can be switched on if clipped to the outside of a pocket or toolcase, the pocket clip is a strong spring steel and the single battery lasts a long time IF you keep the torch reasonably dry. Mine started eating up batteries after 3 days only a few weeks after I got it, and I found the small pcbs that house the led and switch had 'grown' a white conductive powdery coating. Removed this coating carefully and sealed with varnish, now as good as new. (I work on Laundry equipment and it swam like a brick a few times.)The box it comes in is very useful as well.

I have had the True Utility AngleHead Torch for quite a few months now and find it excellent. The light is very bright for the size of the tourch and it clips well to clothing leaving the hands free. The torch fits the hand well and is very easy to turn on and off with the thumb, very usefull in difficult situations.I like the fact that the angled head protrudes very little from the side of the torch which is the reason I originally bought it. In some situations the slim size can be useful.Once I dropped the torch from waist hight onto a hard floor which left a small mark on the case but the torch still worked fine.I cannot comment on battery life as I have not kept track of it except to say I haven't changed the battery often.

The main body of this torch is tough and it's nice and bright. It's small enough to fit in a jeans pocket no problem.Trouble is I bought this torch so I would be able to clip to clothing and it would shine forward as I walk. The clip broke off first time I used i used it. I kept the tiny screws safe and tried to screw it back on, but it keeps coming back off. So it now lives in my car.Frustrating because there are cheaper torches out there, but I wanted one that'd clip to my coat.

Excellent Quality Angle Head Torch, great construction, bright cob led, supplied in a water resistant case, very pleased.

Good torch for close range and for working on things on a table top.
