I removed the (dv7abs) pre-filter on the back of the motor only to realize that the filter do not fit. is there an adaptor?

Sorry, but to my knowledge there is no adapter available. For this Dyson you need the oblong shaped filter for the back of the machine. I have a Dyson V8 and the oblong filter fit fine.

Will this fit Dyson v7 allergy?

If it uses these type of filters I would think so. I have a V7 Animal and they fit.
