Hemorrhoid Flushable Wipes with Witch Hazel for Skin Irritation Relief - 96 Count

As someone who deals with occasional but intense flare-ups of irritation, I've learned that having the right tools for comfort is non-negotiable. I was using standard toilet paper and sometimes even baby wipes (which I knew not to flush), but neither offered actual relief. I decided to try these Preparation H wipes specifically because they contain witch hazel, and I'm so glad I did. First and foremost, the relief is immediate and noticeable. The wipes are cool to the touch and the witch hazel does an excellent job of calming burning and itching sensations right away. Unlike dry toilet paper which can be abrasive, these are soft, gentle, and leave you feeling clean and soothed, not just... wiped. The material is thick enough that it doesn't feel flimsy or cheap. The packaging is also well-designed; the resealable sticker actually works and keeps the wipes moist down to the last one, which is not always the case with other brands. For managing discomfort, especially on sensitive skin, they are a solid 5/5.

The wipes work fine--they are a good value and work as they should. However, getting them out of the package is a frustration! When first opened, typically 4-5 wipes come out when I try to grab only 1. Then even after half of the package has been used, I'll often get 2 wipes when I only want 1. I've used witch hazel wipes from other brands (in both the "soft" and plastic container packaging) and the packaging/dispensing on these is the worst I've encountered.

One minute you’re young and carefree, eating spicy food at midnight and sitting on wooden bleachers like it’s nothing. The next minute you’re standing in the pharmacy aisle quietly whispering, “Well… bless my heart,” while tossing hemorrhoid wipes into your cart like a person who has seen some things. Let me tell you — these wipes are a blessing. Soft, soothing, and far superior to regular toilet paper when your backside decides it has had enough of your nonsense. Are they glamorous? No. Are they necessary? Also no… until the day they absolutely are. If you’re here reading reviews for hemorrhoid wipes, just know you’re not alone. Bless your heart. Buy the wipes. I find these Preparation H wipes to be very good. A few reviews have said some negative things about them but I have not experienced anything negative at all. I'm fairly fussy when buying things like this so I took some time to research the best to buy. I find they are tough enough for the job. They have the ideal amount of moisture too. When you first pull them from the pack they don't feel as moist as you might be hoping HOWEVER during and after use you appreciate that the moisture content is just right. The only 'potential negative I'd warn you about involves physically removing the wipes one-by-one and re-sealing the pack after use. When you open the pack take your time with the white hard plastic lid. It comes apart from the base to open but you need to be careful as it isn't obvious where the base finishes and the lid begins. get your fingernail between the two and take the lid off that way. If you don't do it carefully you risk breaking the base from the soft plastic bag container and they'd dry out much quicker if that happened. Secondly, when actually removing the tissues, don't push down on the white plastic base as it holds the tissues IN and if you pull harder to get them out they WILL tear. Again, use fingernails to delicately pluck them out and if you're not pushing down on the base with your other hand then they'll come up and out just fine. They DO come out without tearing apart - going slowly is the key. Lastly, they have a very mild and pleasant scent and the ingredients list shows no nasties are present. They are pleasant to use and do exactly what they're supposed to do and they do it the way one would want them to do it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
