Can i use 3.0 usb with a 2.0 port? also, my last scandisc 32mb usb lost it's full capacity of data, i lost very important files. it lasted 1 year.

Yes, 3.0 is backwards compatible with USB 2.0. Meaning, it will work on the 2.0 port, it just transfers data a little slower than 3.0. I'm surprised yours only lasted 1 year, I have used scandisk thumb drives for years and never lost any data.

I have heard this usb ships with a Phision PS2251-03 (2303) is this correct?

Anyone else check this? And was it the 16GB, 32GB etc. that came back negative for the PS2251-03 controller?
