New Crunch PX-1000.4 4 Channel 1000 Watt Amp Car Stereo Amplifier + Wiring Kit

Excellent amplifier!

My idea was to improve my 1992 Car audio, not to make a party inside or to blow out the windows, just to be able to listen to music with good bass, highs and general body. TARGET ACHIEVED!!I replaced the factory speakers with 4" BLAUPUNK full range and the rears with 5.2" JVC ones, also installed pioneer tweeters in parallel with the front speakers. All these connected to the PX-1000.4. do not ask me about the stereo i got it for 25 USD some years ago.The installation was easy, time consuming yes, but easy at the end. The calibration was also not a problem. At the end, i am very very happy with the audio quality, If i compare my "Frankenstein" with the factory BOSE installed system in my SUV, i may say that i have reached 90% of the quality of the BOSE.PROS:The best Audio / Price relationReally good Low pass filterThe highs are a little bit to high to my taste but it is mainly related to the radio installed.CONS:Bigger than expectedThe cables were 2 ft short in my case.

The product itself is good. It was fairly easy to set up and the amp itself is really high quality but if you want to actually hear the subs this is not for you. I have 2 12s in my car and I cannot feel them but that was my mistake because 1000 watts is not enough to power 12s like it’s supposed to. This product will work for a 10 but not 12s

So I can say that the amp is nice but the only down fall is the wiring kit. Everywhere I tried to take it to get installed everywhere refused to use the wiring kit cuz they said that it would make my stuff over heat. Other than that my stuff sounds nice and has the right amount of boom.

i added the kicker decals after installing this unit. man... this kicks so hard. IT HAS AN ONBOARD LINE OUT CONVERTER, so i saved that money by installing it with the integrated LOC!!!! its going to be the white pigtail that comes with it and u wire two of the tweeters from the front (+) and (-) to the pigtail and then plug it into the either channel 1&2 or 3&4. i must admit with some kickers, this sounds so good. i accidentally bought it for 2 kickers and it sounds great ;)

This is a nice amp, install is easy enough, although it only came with enough RCA's to do 2 channels when the amp is 4 channels.
