This is the second guard I bought. You can see the first one now covering my amp 🤣 plastic feels pretty good. Metal inserts in the screw points are nice. It's more of a graphite black semigloss.

They are just like I remember but made of hard plastic instead of metal. Because of the shape they are still solid and durable and keep the speakers safe which is the whole point. Plus they look cool also. I cant wait to get the matching one for my 12 that sits between the two 10s. System hits and now it looks good and is safe from damage when I have to move things in my suv. Overall, I recommend them to anyone with kicker 10s. I'll be reviewing the one for the 12 when it arrives tomorrow or the next day. Hope it works as well.

Just ordered 1 to check out the quality first, arrived today and will be ordering another one for my other sub. Quality exceeded my expectations and also there is more then enough room for the speaker to flex without interference like I've had some problems with on my old sub. Sound quality still sounds the same. Best price, good quality & fast shipping. Now I can stop worrying about something sliding into my subwoofer while driving.
