If you're looking to cut out ~70% of the wind noise from your motorcycle rides, this is a pretty good value for the money. I bought this to remove the wind noise that my GoPro Hero 7 was capturing. Since I'm not doing moto-vlogging, other options such as an external microphone or getting a second microphone and syncing audio in post was over the top and too expensive for what I needed. All I really wanted to do is not have SO MUCH wind noise when reviewing my footage and this gets the job done with very minimal complaints.The only con I have for this is that you have to remove it every time you need to take the camera out of its case.

I just received this product, put it on my GoPro 7 and headed for the beach to try it out. Click the video I uploaded; the product is useless. It makes the wind sound like someone is drumming on a large bass drum in the background. It looks like good quality, durable, and you would think it would work fine, but I shot 7 clips at various positions and spots on the beach, facing different directions, and they all sound horrible. This "windslayer" made almost no difference when recording in the wind.

If you use a GoPro for anything where you’re moving faster than walking speed, you know wind noise is an issue. This is an inexpensive and mostly effective solution. I say mostly because it has limitations at certain speeds. I use it when my camera is mounted to my motorcycle or helmet. Some wind noise comes through but it cuts it down significantly. Highly recommended.
