RexingSuction Cup Mount for V1, V1 3rd Gen, V1P, V3

Mounts dashcam to front windshield, adjusts to any angle, no rattles, sticks extremely well to windshield, has never come loose even in freezing temperatures. Happy with purchase.

I have the V1 unit installed in our car and purchased a separate suction cup to alternately mount it in my truck. The mount has a tight, solid build with excellent suction—really secure on the windshield. The rotating mounting hole for the V1 fits perfect and secures the dash cam very well. Again, the build is quite firm and tight and should do its job well. Be advised that the V1 mounting hole and the suction cup mounting shaft fits very tight. I noticed that after mounting and dismounting the two devices several times, the V1 fit on the car mount was not as tight. Transferring the dash cam between vehicles is not a good idea folks. Mounting and dismounting the dash cam eventually causes looseness and lateral movement—obviously due to surface friction of the plastic material. I temporarily fixed the minor issue with a small piece of tape. So I am permanently eliminating any issues by ordering a dash cam for my truck—simply as that. I can say that the suction cup is very nice—I believe that it will work just fine if used as a primary mount.

Works well, suction and stays in the heat. Relaxed a tape mount that kept falling off.

2 stars only because it was not compatible to my Rexing V1P Gen 3. I really liked the mount and the way that it was put together. The problem was that it would not work with my VP! Gen 3. Just didn't have the correct attachment. I ended up using the supplied tape that came with the camera. I may move it over to my other car which has a VP1 camera. If it had worked on the camera, I would have given it a 5 star rating. New: I said I would try the mount on my VP1 and it works great. Now I can give it a 5 start review. It was easy to mount and adjust. Allowed exact positioning on the windshield and is a snap to take off if I need to have it removed. Now if they would only make an attachment for the Gen 3, I would be a very happy camper.

Item took over a month to arrive though it was still within the delivery time period. The suction is doing a great job staying put on the windshield so far, but the annoying issue I have with this mount is that the hook that attaches to the back of the dash cam does not lock or stay snug in place. It moves around very easily when you touch the camera for any type of operation. It does not fit securely and I am quite disappointed in the product, especially when they claim it is meant for the Rexing V1 dashcam which I have. I would have otherwise given it 1 or 2 more stars otherwise.
