Update: Three more sailing trips and countless weekend getaways, and this bag is still my go-to luggage. For business travel I'll use a hard sided roller. For everything else, this is the bag.Original:I bought the 70 liter bag for a week long sailing trip. It was perfect for the trip, and I'm looking forward to using it on future trips. The logos are a little over the top, and the shoulder straps aren't that comfortable, but it is still a great bag. The 70 liter size was perfect for a week on the boat. The U shaped zipper allows the bag to be opened wide, and contents can be sorted through easily. The bag seems reasonably durable, but time will tell.I compared this bag to the North Face Base Camp duffel. I decided that the North Face bag looks nicer, but it wasn't worth the extra expense to me. I caught mine on sale for $50 (black 70L), but I still would have chosen it at $70 like it is now.

This duffel bag is super sturdy and of prime quality. The 90 liters one was perfect for fitting all of my hiking gear. THe zipper is especially good (I compared to a few cheaper duffel bags and this one zipped the best of all I tried. I think it's worth the $$$ as I think I'll get a lot of use out of it. Once you are done using the bag, it folds into a pocket (already provided) and you can stash it away; it uses little space. Overall very happy with this purchase.

I travel a good bit and have had bad luck with bags. They usually aren't large enough, so I have to cram my stuff in my husband's suitcase, and most of my bags and suitcases do not survive overseas trips and just fall apart. The Helly Hansen 70L bag is pretty large and has enough room for all of my clothes, as well as my makeup, hair dryer, and straightener.There is an outside transparent pocket, a bigger pocket on the outside, a netted pocket on the inside, and another netted inside pocket that covers the top flap. It feels very sturdy and durable. I think it is probably too big to be a carry-on, but by the feel of it, it should be able to handle the rough baggage handlers at the airport. I also really like that it can be worn as a backpack, if needed, which will keep your hands free.The only thing I do not like is the brand name and brand's initials plastered in huge letters on two sides. I also don't think it's necessary to put 70L on it either. I know what bag I ordered. It is dated and obnoxious to do this, and I have no desire to be a walking billboard. I knocked a star off for that.Regardless, I'm very happy with the bag!

Everything ok

Did a ton of research between this bag, North Face and Patagonia. Great quality and backpack straps are more durable than the other brands. Wanted to use for ski boots and gear - 70L more than enough room for a weekend trip.
