Berkemann Women's Donata Slippers

This is the second pair of Berkemann Florina 'house shoes' I have bought. The original pair survived more than 3 years of daily hard wear and finally I fancied a fresh pair! The are so supportive, comfortable and importantly also look good. I like wearing house shoes/slippers as cleaner for the floors and lighter indoors however too many other brands that are available offer no support for your feet - these do and should you want to remove the innersole and use your own orthotics that is an option too, as the innersole is not glued down. The sole is hard wearing, the felt upper comfortable and soft without being flimsy. I would have loved to order again in the Black colour however stock so very low that red was my only choice in my size. That said they look great and I am delighted.Ordering was easy, delivery as promised and item well wrapped. Full marks all round.

I have had this type of slippers for few years now. Can’t wear anything else I get pain on the side of the leg towards hip.These slippers are so comfortable and I am sure correct my postureThe insole is removable, so one can put their own.Highly recommended.

I ordered the correct size suggested by Berkemann size chart on their website. However, I think these slippers run very large. I would suggest ordering one half to a full size down. Also, while these are attractive, they are not as comfortable as I expected. The felt is not thick and cushy on the insole and the upper feels thin and scratchy on bare skin. These are definitely house slippers -- insufficient to wear outside the house as the lateral support is not great and the sole is super light and flexible like slipper. I ordered these slippers from outside the UK and wanted to return them but the return shipping cost is outrageously expensive -- more than the cost of the slippers. However, international shipping TO the US via Amazon's Global shipping program was extremely fast and reasonable in cost. The price of the slipper was also good -- but I'm very sad to say, I am disappointed in this purchase, unfortunately stuck with slippers that do not fit me. If you are looking for a comfortable, warm, substantial felt house shoe, that you could also wear outside, I would recommend Haflinger or Stegmann.

I have been these Berkemann Florina, all rubber sole, slippers for years. Whilst this particular pair were really pretty, they were also flawed. The Upper was roughed in an area where it had been glued to the sole. There was also what appeared to be a dried glue patch on the upper front area of one slipper. I bought both this and another pair of Berkemann slippers at the same time as my usual supplier was out of stock. Cut a potentially longer story short, I believe from these two pairs of slippers that these I bought from Amazon are seconds, if so, perfectly okay if you're happy, particularly given the price!
