Q: Does this have a switch which allows you to pick which color you want, i.e., cool white OR warm white? I want warm white.

Yes has switch to select cool or warm white. Also switch to dim somewhat but quite bright either setting. Too bright for my use for night light.

2"x2" and stick out about 1.2" from the socket plate. They give off great light for their size.

There’s a switch on the bottom to toggle from bright to dim. No switch for auto on off. If room is dark enough, say a bathroom, light will stay on all day. You can manually turn it on off via switch on the bottom.
