AYIVG Shower Water Valve Core Replacement Parts …

My shower is about 18 months old and the button for the primary shower head would not come on all the time. Usually you had to push it several times to eventually get it to come on. The final straw was when my son couldn't get it to work and left it in the on position, it randomly came on several hours later. You turn the water to the shower off and take the nob and faceplate off, then I think it takes a 5/8 socket to unscrew the old valve and then screw the new one in. Don't over tighten it, it just needs to be in there snug. Test it out a few times before putting the faceplate and nob back on. I didn't need to replace the other 2 at this time so I'm holding onto the other 2 as spares in case I have problems later on. I hope this company is around for a good long time. I probably would have had to replace my fixture if I couldn't get this part.My only issue with the product is that it doesn't come with any instructions. I couldn't remember exactly how it all went together, but once I got into it, it wasn't hard to figure out.

Received a valve that was smaller water output, unlike the one pictured. I have a strong feeling the red seal version has been discontinued. These valves fit, BUT, water pressure is cut to 1/3 of the original. By original I mean the version in the picture. May be in need to replace my entire system due to these Chinese inconsistency. Ugh 😩
