Philips Respironics DreamWear Nasal Mask Frame (Large)

Great product. Works wonders for me personally. I may have large thoughts and ideas but a medium sized head. Only thing I don’t care for is the ban on the back to support and secure mask in place. It’s shorter now. I did prefer the older one. Other than that. I’d recommend this product for sure.

I've been using a cpap machine for nearly 2 decades and I have never been so comfortable! No more waking up with lines on my face. (I use it with the fabric wraps - not sure if they're completely necessary, but they feel nice against my skin.) No more struggling with a hose that gets in my way. No more painful ears from the headstrap shifting the night. And, no more backaches on the morning from being restricted from moving in my sleep. The key is that my hose goes from my machine, up and over the headboard of my bed before it comes down to the Dreamwear frame. This means the hose is supported by the headboard. Its weight is not on the top of my head where it attaches and I have enough clearance to turn back and forth in bed, sleeping on my side if I wish. For people without a headboard, attach a hook to the wall about 1.5 to 2 feet above your bed to allow the air hose and Dreamwear frame to hang down when you attach it to your face.

I’ve tried several CPAP masks over the years, and the DreamWear nasal mask frame is by far the most comfortable one I’ve used. The design is super lightweight, and I love that the hose connects at the top of the head—it gives me more freedom to move around without getting tangled up. The soft silicone frame fits well and doesn’t leave harsh marks on my face like some others have. It’s also much quieter than I expected, which helps me sleep better. If you’re looking for a CPAP mask that actually feels comfortable and stays in place through the night, this is it. Total game changer for anyone who struggles with traditional masks!

I first tried the ResMed over the head design and really came to appreciate the flexible size. Although the Dreamwear pillows are much comfier over my nostrils I found the headgear just too tight for my not so large noggin. This size doesn’t constrict the sides of my head like the medium. In my case the medium was too small but the large too big—hopefully this won’t be your scenario, too. Nothing more important than comfort when you realize one-third of your life will be spent lying alongside this new “bedtime friend.”

Honestly I wish whis was the option when I first got the unit. It's extremely comfortable and hard the time I forget I'm wearing it. No more whistling on my facial hair and you can even side sleep with no issues. Anyone who uses a CPAP will at one point with the other masks get a condensation buildup and if you move in your sleep it will pour it into your face. Not with this mask. Dry face, no compression lines like with the face mask. Worth every penny.
