Embossing not carved deep enough

I haven't used this patterned rolling pin yet. The design is attractive, but I want to make cookies when the temperatures finally get low enough. Then we shall see how clearly the impressions are made in the dough. It's been so hot the dough would just sag, and the kitchen would be hot for hours after, and nobody wants to eat rich buttery cookies with hot tea when it is 97F.

The seller took almost 2 months to deliver this item. On receipt of it the engraving on the rolling pin is very shallow. It does not embossed at all for my molasses cookies or sugar cookies. I would not recommend this seller or product.

Cookies bake nicely as it retains the design. In love with it the elegance of the pattern. Rolling pin is easy to use. Dust with a little flour and it’s ready to go. I bought this for myself but it would make a lovely gift for any baker.

I just received my fancy rolling pin, and have not used it yet, but am anxious to make a dough to use it on. I think I will be pleased. The design is beautiful, and it looks deep enough to make a nice imprint. Plus: It was reasonable in cost and that always helps too. Thanks! Carol
