I bought this handheld metal detector and it works much better than I expected for the price. It's very easy to use, lightweight, and comfortable to carry with the included holster and lanyard. The sensitivity is good enough to detect coins, jewelry, and small metallic objects, and it really helpspinpoint targets after using a larger metal detector.The waterproof feature is also a big plus-I've used it in wet soil without any problems. The 9V battery lasts a decent amount of time, although I recommend carrying a spare just in case.Overall, it's a reliable and affordable tool for kids, beginners, or hobbyists who want to make treasure hunting easier and more fun

I'll admit I'm new to metal detecting. I've used this pinpointer on three hunts so I can't attest to it's durability, but it worked great. Maybe as I learn more I'll upgrade but I'm not sure what one that costs 4 or 5x as much does that this one doesn't.

I bought this as well as a more expensive one and I kept this one. Finds what I need no problem at the beach or at the park. So far very happy

Haven’t had many opportunities to use this since the time I purchased it. But I’ve used it probably a total of 4 short moments. It stopped working and I’m very disappointed. Yes, I’ve replaced the battery and it still wouldn’t work. I know I can’t return it now because it’s been almost a year now.Update, the seller has contacted me and was very helpful with my issue of the defective pinpointer. They will be sending me a new pinpointer, I’m very pleased and can’t wait to use it.

I bought this to find the survey markers for our property. I had used a larger metal detector before so knew approximately where the markers were located. Unfortunately, this detector could not find them. I reread the promotion for these small detectors and think my expectations may have been too high for them. I had to return and purchase a more expensive, larger detector.
