How does the timer button work on this? The instructions that come with it suck..and going to the website doesn’t offer any further explanation either

yup the instructions sucks. I can only speak for the touch diffuser, if you press on the button with the clock icon once you will notice the bottom led will flash this means a two hour session, press it again an the middle led will flash indicating a 4hr session, press it again a the entire row of led will flash indicating an 8hr session. once you decide how many hours you want it to be working you can than adjust the intensity level. I hope this helps otherwise call their customer service for instruction.

Does this work with the area mini diffuser? Or the regular large one?
