Successfully loaded a couple of films, was a good sign, all seemed fine. But once you reach about a fifth of the storage capacity (at around 45Gb), any further films loaded would not play as if the memory has been reached but it hasn’t. In my honest opinion this is a rather expensive knock off and the vendor keeps offering me money to delete this review.

I cannot emphasize how much this simplifies my life. This was faster than either connecting the phone by cable or wifi to the laptop, and it took me just a couple of minutes to move the few pics I had on my iPhone (arguably, not many) to the computer. Easy, no hassle, just download the app, and it's done. And I am always downloading PDFs on the phone, which I then need to move to a laptop, by email, to put on a memory stick if I can find it so I can take it to the printer. No need with this, it takes seconds to put on the stick. The massive capacity means I can take it on holiday to back up stuff, too, so I can stop paying for cloud storage. Best money I've spent in a while.

Didn’t work straight out the box. Even after trying Amazon Tech support, nothing worked. So I cannot recommend at all

The item worked as advertised when received, though the design is a bit fiddly and the unit definitely doesn't feel robust. But after a couple of weeks the USB connection totally failed and hence also the USB-c connection to Android (which is an extension piece that plugs into the USB port). The Apple Lightning connector still worked and the drive itself appeared uncorrupted but it was pretty useless without the ability to connect through USB. The item has been returned and refunded and that process was easier than I expected.

I'm not sure what the point of this gadget is. I was expecting it to sort all my photos into easily manageable folders and ideally I would be able to nominate whether they could be stored by date, type or content. All I can see that happens is it very quickly loads all my photos but in no different sequence than that already exists on my iPhone. Beyond that there is nothing in the app which tells me what to do and the instructions (once I have found a magnifying glass to read them) doesn't offer any useful information that will tell me what this thing does. I have given it 4 stars because I am sure its better than I have found it to be, but until they can improve on their instructions there will be a few people like me who remain baffled by its purpose and need to regretfully return it.

Bought this to transfer some files to my granddaughter's iPad with not a lot of success. I'm not an apple man so I decided to keep the drive as a spare for my Windows computers. Big mistake! when transferring a number of files they will randomly be corrupt or unreadable, or if in folders, the folders will be empty? I tried formatting the drive in ExFat as suggested by the seller to no avail. It is useless as any form of backup or file transfer device as you have no idea if the files will be readable. I bought this drive just over a month ago and will be returning it to Amazon.

This memory stick is worth its weight in gold. Since purchasing a new Mac it has been very annoying having to transfer data across from a C port Memory card to a normal memory stick but this solves the problem as it’s built on with 2 types of heads and then an extra USB C to add on too. No more messing around with lots of random USB’s - also for the price it’s incredible for the amount of storage. Oh and the speed is spot on! Very happy with it.

Spent nearly two hours trying to get product to work even having to use Amazon help line. Even downloaded extra software as suggested (risky as it allows data sharing).No luck. After loads of difficulties, although data appeared to be being transferred, my PC indicated that nothing whatsoever had been transferred (unless as hidden files).Agreed with Amazon that just in case, I can reformat disk before return.
