Song and dance to pair the remote
I bought this one because they claim to be US based. So, I thought that the drone might be sourced locally. Actually, they are rebadging a product from a foreign toy company. In order to pair the remote with the drone you need to rotate the drone, up, down, left, right and over your head. I am kidding a little bit but not much. And you need to do this every time you want to fly the drone. They even include a separate 'how to' just for the pairing, so it's a thing. I tried about 5 times to pair it, to no avail. Plus, I think that for what it offers, it is too expensive even with the discount. I returned it.

Great starter drone
A great starter drone. The picture quality is awesome. The documentation could be better. However, the customer service is great and responded back the same day.

Only one Battery
Drone works as advertised. Kids like it etc. etc. However don't be fooled by photo's and such. Only one battery comes with this. The other system I purchased for less than half the cost (80.00 for the Holy Stone for a younger child) fly's just as good, has a 1080 camera, and comes with two batteries for longer flight time. If I had known in advance Altair only came with a single battery, I would have purchased a different system and save the cost of potentially buying a second battery.

Does not work
This will not work hours spent trying everything starts up but that's it would not move off the ground just sat. We do fly drones so understand them this isn't worth the money something inside machine doesn't work look elsewhere. Comes with one battery doesn't last long ordered extra one they sent wrong one and still not given credit for the 18.00 battery with worthless drone. I ordered the correct one but got some other battery that fits bigger drone then what we got.

Pretty Good
This Green Hornet is a decent camera drone released by Altair, which before this product, was unknown to me. This drone enters into a category filled with DJI-like knockoffs from a wide selection of manufacturers, and like the others in its class, fits into a budget price point to appeal to those who can't afford DJI products, or are simply looking for a toy to fly around without having to worry about crashing an expensive drone. My first impression was of how light this thing is, in fact when I first got this delivered I thought I got sent an empty box only to find the drone chilling inside. Now this is somewhat of an issue depending on where you are flying this drone, because if it is even remotely windy this Green Hornet will have an exceptionally difficult time. One benefit of the light weight is that it won't have to be registered with the FAA, which will probably appeal most to the beginners, or those looking to avoid registering with the FAA. My opinion is that the light weight and cheap plastic materials used throughout the device are pretty standard fare in this price range, and therefore isn't too big of a deal. I would just advise everyone to avoid crashing it, because I don't have much confidence in this holding up to crashes very well.As for the flight characteristics, I'll say this felt pretty good but I did feel the stick response was a bit numb for my liking, but that is just my preference. The motors are just about the best aspect of this drone, giving this some respectable power and surprising straight line speed. I will mention however that the range on this Green Hornet is sub-optimal, but I will say that much of that likely has to do with wireless interference in the areas I test flew, and may improve in less congested areas perhaps.I'll mention the app that needs to be downloaded is called "UDIGPS". I really didn't enjoy using this app for several reasons, the first of which is the amount of permissions it requests upon first launching the app which raises privacy concerns immediately, and the next thing is that it looks like it is trying so hard to copy DJI's superior lineup of apps used to fly their Mavic line of drones, the UI and imaging look near identical with the main difference being the worse performance of this app.All in all I'd say this is a good starter camera drone for someone interested in photography or just remote controlled drone flight, and I feel this would probably be a great gift with the Holiday season upon us, but I would mention that as long as you temper your expectations and accept the Green Hornet is not a DJI drone, or a competitor, but it is an enjoyable drone to get someone started in the hobby.4/5 stars
