Very flexible silicone jacketed, individually tinned strands.
I think this is the second time I have purchased this product. ๐ค Very nice quality. Super flexible. Individually tinned copper strands (less chance of corrosion). Some reviewers think this is aluminum because of the color. It is copper. You have to "sand" it to see the bronze color. Good product. ๐ XT90-s is easily and quickly soldered onto these with about a 200 or 300 watt iron in about 5 seconds.

Really darn good!
So good that I bought several packs! This is the good wire that I remember buying years ago before a lot of the stores started selling junk. This is actually real tinned copper wire with real silicone insulation. Something that's uncommon today unless you deal with a big Supply house, and you're going to pay for it at those places! This is the good stuff for a fair price!

very nice wire
ThIS wire is VERY floppy (good quality) it's fine strand, silver in color and untwisted, but it twists nicely when you need it to to easily fit into the end of a 10 gauge connector. The insulation is thick and very pliable, like it's made of high grade silicone or something so it's not very resistenant to tears on sharp corners, but once installed, probably impervious to heat, chemicals and even dirt under the hood of a car.

Audiophile quality speaker cable.
Positives: High thread count makes it exceptionally well suited for high power/high end audio. 10 Gauge cable is the maximum size for the binder posts on my high end amplifier and Infinity speakers. Extremely flexible, you could bend this far more than you should bend electrical wire of any type. (extreme bends and kinks break the conductors). Very easily stripped with an RG-59 stripping tool with few lost strands - if you're careful. Negatives: Comes only in specific lengths. I really needed 2 5ft cables, a 10ft and a 12ft cable. It would be far better if I could get this cable by the foot, or on a spool and cut the lengths myself. I had to move a speaker from its optimal position to accommodate the cable length. Splicing this cable would be a horrible idea - you would effectively lose the whole purpose of buying high thread count cable in the first place. Super fine threads makes stripping without cutting a few threads highly difficult. The red and black cables are separated - usually not a problem, but it does make them a bit easier to tangle. Not quite an equal replacement for my 80s vintage Monsterโข cable. Even Monster cut the gauge of their cable in half since then. So I'd have to go with about 4 gauge cable to get an electrically equivalent match. This should not be a problem for anyone not a spoiled audiophile. Overall, I like it. The biggest problem is that it comes in exact lengths, which means you're either wasting a bunch or having to move things around to accommodate the cable. It's worth the $0.80/foot I paid for it. But I would have paid a full USD per foot for them to cut me 40 feet of each color.

Like a noodle
This wire is so easy to work with. The only trouble is that it is so pliable, it is hard to push it into a connector (like an Anderson or an MC4 after crimping on the connector). Not a ding on the wire, but something to keep in mind. As far as hookup wire, it is really easy to use. Sure, it's a bit more expensive the that stiff wire, but it makes many jobs a lot easier without putting torque stress on the connections.

Quality Silicone Wire
I used this wiring in my golf cart to replace the old wiring that was getting brittle. This silicone wire is very flexible and has a nice thick jacket. It is very easy to manipulate while running it through books and crannies.

Definitely good quality 100% tinned copper wire.
I almost got taken in by the negative reviews however after purchasing the product I see they are misguided. This wire has a good silicone insulation that will easily pass the 600V rating and 10AWG. The conductor is a made of very high count multi-strand tinned copper giving it great flexibility. The wire is very easily soldered and any concerns of the solder not penetrating the inner conductors can be alleviated by using some rosin core flux (flux pens available on Amazon) note: do not use acid core flux on electrical, only stick to rosin type. Nothing but good to say about the product. This is definitely 100% tinned copper conductor, no aluminum ! For those that see the silver finish and think it is aluminum, FYI the tin plating gives the silver colour. Looking at the end of any clean cut strand will yield the copper colour inner. 100% worthwhile product. For those concerned about CSA rating, this is not designed to wire your house as it is way too expensive and wrong type anyway. My use is automotive where I need the superior flexibility and will be powering higher voltage items. This wire would be great for solar projects as well. The price is a good value for what you are getting and this wire has an intended purpose as do all different wire types.

The flexibility seems to show the covering is indeed silicone
I used this product to extend the power leads to my trolling motor. These wires were very flexible and the insulation appears to be of good quality. Time will tell after they have been exposed to the elements involved with being on a fishing boat.
