Slow interface
Worked as disscribed and connected laptop HDD to SATA port but interface is only SATA 1 so data transfer very slow. This needs to be included in description.

IDE part of the IDE to SATA was smaller than expected so does fit.

Bought this to connect and old IDE hard drive, I was too hasty with my purchase and didn’t notice this was a 44pin for laptop drives. Seems well made, ended up using it to recycle an old laptop drive.
