great grip on pen and writes beautifully, no blips or skips, nice fine line but doesn't scratch.

I use pens in many different ways. Writing utensils, letter openers, and so forth. I purchase pens that are durable and inexpensive but write well.My go to pens are bic click stick pens with ink cartridges from bic Atlantis pens. These cartridges give a bolder print than the standard cartridge from the stic pen but sometimes blobs if not cleaned often.I thought I'd try something different and looked at reviews for the skillcraft pens. Most reviews were positive so I purchased a box. Pen seems to be durable because I haven't broken of the clip yet, but clip is not as sturdy as the stic pen. Skillcraft pen is slightly bigger in diameter and rubber barrel on pen is nice for writing but makes putting pen in shirt pocket somewhat difficult because it doesn't slide easily.I was pleased with the fine point but wish ink would be darker in color to make it appear bolder. After a few weeks, now pen is skipping when you first start to write making it that you must scribble on scrap paper before signing documents. The skillcraft pen is an average pen with some special features that I feel don't justify the higher price and a second purchase. Maybe other skillcraft pens offer ink cartridges which are better, but for a throw away pen this one isn't worth the extra cost for my use.
